I got stuck in it at lunch time while I was driving home to have lunch with DH. It took me 40 minutes to go from Pfieffer to Ronald Reagan.
I could see smoke to the south when I was heading toward 71, but I thought it was a house fire--I didn't think about a car fire until I saw the brake lights and the two state troopers flying down the left side of 71.
I hope the person in the minivan didn't suffer and that the driver of the mustang survives to face the consequences of this horrible crash.
ETA: I also want to add how much artimis sucks canal water, the wreck was on the news but they didn't have anything on the sign between Pfieffer and Ronald Reagan--so no one knew what happened. Even wlw had it wrong at first (they said mile marker 15, but it was further south), but they corrected it by the next traffic break.
