Getting mildew out of glass container?

I've got some very old glass decanters that have some mildew inside and I'd like to clean them out to sell. Anyone cleaned something similar that can advise on a cleaning method and/or products that will eat away the mildew from the glass?

    dishsoap and a bottle brush.

Sorry, should have specified - I tried a bottle brush but due to the width and shape I can't get the brush to the middle and upper curves where the mildew spots are.

  • Fill it up with hot water and bleach, and let it soak..
  • fill a quarter full with rice. Add soap and water. Shake. The rice acts as an abrasive.

Awesome idea! I'm getting ready to tackle this so I'll definitely try this and I've got bleach on hand to make sure everything is killed off.
