My bff is in need of some recommendations.
She's looking for the best place for
- nursing bras
- nursing tanks
- bathrobe (for hospital stay)
- nightgowns
Obviously, budget friendly would be best. Thanks for any advice!

Re: J9 moms
I love, love, love my Bravado nursing bras and tanks. I have 4 bras and 1 tank. Granted, I spent more than I wanted to spend on them ($35 for the bra; $49 for the tank), but I honestly think they were worth it because even 4 1/2 months out I wear one or the other every. single. day. They have 20% off coupons on them every now and then so maybe she can check out retailmenot.com for coupon codes. I also have 2 of the Target tanks, and they're okay, just not as comfy as the Bravado one.
No recommendations for a bathrobe. I only got out of the bed to use the bathroom while I was in the hospital and I was fine with just the hospital gown, especially since it looked like a crime scene every time I went.
As for nightgowns, I sleep in the nursing bras with DH's t-shirt and pajama bottoms, so no advice there either.

I'm coming in late, but here's my 2 cents:
nursing bras-I got mine at Motherhood Maternity and love them. They also were not budget friendly. Also she should wait a couple days until her milk comes in if she is going to pay good $ for the bras (or go up a size if she doesn't want to wait) I bought a couple cheaper bras that I thought would fit before going to Motherhood but my cup size changed once my milk came in.
I got 2 nursing tanks from Target-I hardly wear them because I had no success with them either (sorry lucky!)
bathrobe-a friend from work got one for me, so I am no help. But I will say, I totally agree with vh. Bathroom time is scary postpartum. I only wore the gown in the room. The only time I wore the robe is when DH and I would stroll the hallways to get me up and walking.
nightgowns-she really doesn't need maternity gowns. I wear a nursing bra at night and big t-shirts/comfy pants. If she does want something, maybe tell her just to get a gown/shirt that is button down.
This exactly!
