Too many kitchen appliances/gadgets!!! How to organize??

Hello ladies!!! I haven't posted here in a long time.  I need some help.  I have a lot of kitchen appliances/gadgets that I just can't seem to organize in an effecient way.  I've already given a few away so now I'm down to the ones I actually use, just not very often.  I have a few in my pantry, a few in a bottom cabinet and a few still in boxes (these were recent gifts).  Oh I also have a wine cooler sitting on the floor of my kitchen.  What would you all suggest??? I'm open to purchasing a stand of some sort just don't know where to find so pics would be appreciated as well!!!!!!!

TIA!!!

Re: Too many kitchen appliances/gadgets!!! How to organize??

  • I use a Large, over-the-door clear shoe organizer for larger gadgets and small ones that I have a few that are similar, over our pantry door.

I've got a small bookshelf that I keep in the pantry and put larger appliances on it and keep odds and ends in clear boxes on the book self.

    Hope that helps.

  • We have a kitchen cart in our kitchen. Pics in bio. This is mostly because our pantry is small and not in the kitchen (and no island). If I had an island or bigger panty, I'd probably shove them in there so they were off the counter. I like having a cart with doors so you can't see what's inside rather than an open shelf.

ETA: I got mine from one of those kitchen cart sites, sorry I can't remember the exact one but if you google I'm sure you can find.

  • I don't have anything ground breaking to share.  The amount of Gadgets I have in the size of our small, pantry-less kitchen is humorous to say the least.  My 2 tips are keep them together, we have 1 whole lower kitchen cabinet devoted to them and taller ones hang out on top of the fridge. For the lower kitchen cabinet (that has 2 shelves) I have a list of what is on which shelf taped inside the door. Plus it is a no cost solution. Just typed it up and taped it all over with clear masking tape so it stays clean. This way when I go hunting for something at least I'll now which self to start pulling things out of.

Rice Cooker, Egg Poacher, Ice Cream Machine, Spice Grinder, French Press anyone?

  • I try to not have appliances and gadgets that only have one purpose.  Of course sometimes you can not get around this.  But it is a good rule of thumb.
  • Thank you ladies!!! You've given me some great ideas!!!!
