AW Counter Offer Accepted.... almost homeowners!
So we made an offer on the house, they came in right where we wanted to be and we accepted. If inspections and everything go well we are set to close by the end of the month, which seems super quick but I'm excited.
I will post pictures in a little bit. For those who know Nola we are still uptown.

And I am so glad you will be staying in uptown! I cannot wait to see pics!

Thanks guys, this is the outside. The patio or whatever it is called is now all railed in. I am sorry if this is huge... it has been awhile since I posted pictures.
it's so cute! And you get a carport which is awesome.
How big? How many BR/Bath?
Living room/Dining room
Kitchen
3 bed/2 bath
Flooded during Katrina so it was totally gutted built way up and new everything installed (Wiring, plumbing, etc)
Huge backyard so we can built up or out if we ever wan to. We are planning on adding a pool by next summer and will still have plenty of yard space to spare plus a great deck out back.
Ooooh, it's GORGEOUS inside! And a total rebuild is really nice!
sounds big enough for us to come stay in
Totally big enough. For now Jason will have an office which will actually have a futon in it as well as the guest room with a real bed.
I FB you the listing with all the pictures (you can share it) I just didn't want to put the listing with the address all public and stuff

Lot is just a bit less then an acre at 3,800 Sq feet. Living space is 14,500 and if you include the back and front porch it is 17,000. So not huge but pretty nice size for a New Orleans starter home.
Our apartment is 700 sq ft. so it feels giant to me. Then until walked into my friends new 2,500 sq ft house out in the burbs yesterday and our new place seemed tiny.
Thanks Steph, it is in Broadmore. We looked in Metairie but just couldn't bring ourselves to it! How is the baby?
