Hi ladies!  My Matron of Honor just found out yesterday that she is pregnant!!!!!  She and her husband have been trying for almost a year and it finally happened! woohoo!!  :) 

I want to get her a little something to congratulate her and her hubby.  I was thinking of getting her the book "What to Expect When You Are Expecting".  Or get her a subscription to a Parents magazine.  What do you gals think?

    Yay!!! So happy for them!  I think a book or magazine subscription is a great idea!  Probably other girls that are expecting or TTC would know the best ones to get!

    Woohoo!! :) I would get the magazine subscription that way she can decide if she wants to read what to expect....(its scary!!! they give you LOTS of information and some ppl prefer not to know the nitty gritty grossness before it happens) Or maybe something like a pedicure/manicure to pamper herself....thats what my friend who just had her baby said was key to her sanity....someone to rub her feet!

    Congrats to your friends! I hope she has a happy and healthy 9 months.

    I second the idea of a mani/pedi. This will especially be needed from about 6 months on when those poor feet are swollen.

    Yay for her!!! I definitely like the idea of a mani/pedi -- that and a nice card will probably be more meaningful than a Parents' magazine. (Though I like that idea, too, I just think she may enjoy some pampering more!)

    One more vote for spa treatment - I bet in about 3-4 months she'll love the idea of a pedicure or massage!!!

    I always send spafinder.com gift certificates, then they can choose the spa and the service they want!

    Thanks for the ideas!  I think maybe more towards the middle/end of her pregnancy I'll treat her to a pedi!  :) I ordered a subscription to Parents magazine for her for now...more to come.

    These are all great ideas but I read the BEST one a couple days ago....a gift certificate to a CLEANING company.  Preggo women cant get on the floor to clean a bathroom they will be in a LOT and will need a good deep cleaning because they wont be able to!
