Took a PT this morning and it's another big fat negative...now I am baking 2 apple pies and banana bread.

Give it a little time...it sometimes can take awhile..Stop worrying too much about it..and just have fun trying to concieve...nature will take its course..(I'm an OB nurse..so I kinda know how things work a bit

We're going to start trying in the spring - and in the meantime I've become addicted to the GP board. Probably not the most helpful in terms of staying relaxed about the whole thing.

So sorry :-( We have been TTC also. We are not at the point yet where we are going to be tracking my BBT or using OPK's - I've just been keeping track of how long my previous cycles have been, the calculating when I think I may be O'ing. According to my last few cycles I should have O'd sometime over the past few days, so I will be beginning the dreaded 2WW.
Here's to another month for you of having fun TCC! Just keep trying, and stay at it. They say a couple only has a 20% chance of catching the egg each month, so it may take a few cycles. Good Luck to you and keep us updated!!!
ps - its nice to hear another 8/10 knottie who is also TTC :-) I know ALOT of girls who got married 8/10 don't want childen in the near future and I was starting to feel like an outsider haha!!
I'm not TTC any time soon, but I have friends who are, and I know it can be a lot harder than health ed made you think it was! I still sympathize with your struggles!
Keep having fun; don't focus so much on what you're trying to do...it will happen when your body isn't as stressed, and when you and your DH are truly just enjoying yourselves. Lighting will strike! :-)
So sorry hun. Were you on BC? Sometimes that takes a while to work it's way out of your system.
Always makes me think about all the teenagers who get pregnant by accident when there are married adult couples that have trouble.

Thanks ladies! I appreciate your support...I am frustrated about it mostly because I still haven't started my period and now I am 5 days late...but I have taken 2 tests ( I took another one this morning just because I hadn't started, so I wanted to make sure before I started swigging wine - lol) and they have both been negative.
I haven't been on BC for four years - DH and I had been careful in the passed, but figured if it happened, then that's cool! Now that we really want it to happen, nature will mess with us a little I think! lol
And re: teenagers...tell me about it! I teach high school and every year we have at least one girl get preggo...it breaks my heart for so many reasons! My friends are saying to just get drunk and 'do it' because it works for so many teens! lol (perhaps that's a little sad to laugh at that...)
Well at best, as many of you mentioned, another month of 'actively trying' equals good times!!
