So initially we thought one company would win a contract. So I did all the necessary pre-award paperwork for said company. In doing that paperwork, one of the agencies leakes that they were the apparent winner.
Legal reviewed our documents and determined a lower priced company should win the award. Go about re-doing the documents for new winner.
Of course, first company is now upset, but instead of my boss saying, legal review determined another company acceptable to win, she says I made an adminstrative error.
This just solidifies that I am making the right move. Which btw, she forwarded an email to the team from the division chief talking about my move that just said FYI. So I responded to that one, took her off it and said I didn't want them to find out this way, but this is an opportunity for me and I WILL speak to them in person.
WTF!!
Re: <sigh> My boss lied and blamed it on me
If she blatantly lied I would have copied her on a response then asked for a meeting, that is complete bs especially if legal can vouch for the reason.
Wow, Good morning anyway.
Yeah this. Your boss is a b#tch. Karma is also a b#tch. Someday, she'll get hers.
In the mean time, you switching over to the other division will eliminate having to deal with her and you can watch her implode on herself and giggle.
This and this.
Glad Legal can back you up in saying that it was not you and your boss lied about it being you. So when do you move to the other team?
My division chief wants a month, so November 6 they're saying. The email that my boss forwarded from the chief even had this undertone of pissed. Especially since she made reference to turning contracts over. She used to be my team lead and knows me way better than that. I would never not have my things organized and prepared for turnover.
