Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

We have a crawler!! and a sitter issue...
So TJ started to "crawl" yesterday. He's still a bit shakey and gets his legs all mixed up sometimes because he likes to stick his butt in the air and try to walk/crawl, but he's going forward. I was excited when I seen him do it because I was all worried about him starting it while he was with someone else(the sitter or my parents), but then I found out the he actually did it at the sitters today so it made me kind of sad. I'm wondering if this is the reason he hasn't been sleeping through the night lately. Last night was absolutely horrible with him. I think I might have to talk to his sitter and tell her to not let him sleep long in the afternoon. I've been considering finding a new sitter because she has started to bug me. I found out that she was saying TJ was a cry baby and stuff right after she first started watching him and was complaining because she didn't like his schedule. Well I guess on monday he was a bit whiny and screamed/cried a bit more than usual and she was not happy with him about it(hes an infant..hes going to cry). She mentioned to me yesterday that he was a bit fussy in the morning and that she told him "We are not going to have a day like yesterday so you better quit your fussing/crying by noon because I'm not taking it". It kind of pissed me off. I dont know what to do. I haven't told Terry because I dont know how to take all of this. Any thoughts/suggestions?

Congrats on the crawling.
It definitely doesn't sound like she is the best babysitter material. I think if you are uncomfortable with her then you should look for someone else. It's important to have someone you are comfortable with and trust.

And I agree with PPs. A childcare provider is NOT someone you want to be unsure about. Good luck in your search!
