How is everyone today?
I spent last night installing insulation, which is a job I hate doing because it's really itchy. But, my want for warmth overcame my hate of itching, so I did in. Tonight we'll put up the poly and then we can turn on the furnace!!!

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Re: Good morning!
Good morning!
I was MIA over the last two days because I was running workshops for one of the hospitals that we're working with. I was super nervous but it went off really well and I think my boss is really happy with how we did.
Today I'm back to the office - so more nesting time. Woohoo!
V is away at a conference today and tomorrow which means I get to sleep diagonally on the bed, lol.

Sweet! I love heating.
I'm really dragging my butt today. I had a terrible night's sleep and I'm feeling frustrated with my inability to discipline well.
I suck at throwing kids out of the classroom.

Welcome back ringy! Glad to hear your thing went well.
That sort of surprises me. You strike me as more of a take-no-***-from-no-one type.

It's weird, I know. I'm deeply, deeply sarcastic, and that's enough to keep most kids on their toes. So, I never get attitude from kids - but I think the way I act winds them up, and that's where I'm running into problems. But, I need to start having detentions (which I hate, because they're a punishment for me), but I SUCK at those because I get bored and end up chatting with the kids.
I made a group of boys clean the gum off the bottom of my desks last year and it was the most fun they had all year. I'm TERRIBLE at being all serious and angry when I'm not actually serious and angry.

Raynes - Yay for being able to turn on the furnace tonight!
Kaesha - you are a rockstar teacher either way!
Lasnight I made it through my first Zumba class. DH even came with me. I LOVED it. It royally kicked my arse, but it was well worth it! I am anxious for Thursday nights class now.
Today a meeting I was excited about got cancelled. Why was I excited? Well it was at another office from 2-3, and I was going to leave after that, but I just got a note from the lady, and she had to reschedule so I guess I will have to work (look busy) until 3:30 now.
Yay for heat! I wish our building maintenance would turn ours on already.
Nothing much going on over here. Work has been very quiet after a few weeks of hectic activity, so that's nice. Last night we hit the gym after our week away and we both felt it--ouch! Hopefully the workday goes by fast and I can get home and experiment with making yucca fries. I'm a bit intimidated.
Morning! Happy Hump Day.
Yesterday I picked up my next to last farm basket. It had a jack-o-lantern pumpkin in it (we get a cooking pumpkin next week). I was so excited, even though I had to hump it eight blocks back to my car. I love carving pumpkins.

Good Morning, Ladies!
Happy Wednesday. Ringy - I sleep diagonally when DH is gone, too. And it's a king-size bed, so there's some serious acreage to sprawl over. Heh.
Insulation isn't fun, raynes. I hope you get it done soon.
My daughter brought home a kitten last night - found it in a box next to the street. He's 8-10 weeks old? and very cute. BUT, Cheddar and DH are not amused, and Nala is very confused why little kitteh doesn't like to be licked on the head like Cheddar does, and why he hisses and puffs up his little tail. I asked my daughters whose 15-year commitment little kitteh was going to be - not mine. We'll see how this one plays out.

Good Morning!
Last night we went furninture shopping...again and found nothing! UGH, I guess it is going to be a lot of sleeping on the air mattress until we find something we love but hey less things to paint around I suppose.
I am excited work has actually slowed down a little and I can get back to nesting!
I really need to start planning simpler meals during the week. I feel like all I do is get home, cook, eat late and go to bed.
Aaron and I decided this morning Wednesdays shoud be 1/2 or 3/4 days and allow you to sleep in and recharge for the rest of the week.
Happy Wednesday.
This is a fabulous idea!
Good morning ladies.
raynes, good luck with the itchy insulation!
kaesha, I agree that I'm sure you are a kick arse teacher either way.
Les, just send that kitty my way, I've been trying to talk J into one forever now.
I come into work Wed-Fri at 9 now so I get to sleep in an hour extra. It's nice but staying the hour later sucks. I really need to be using that time in the morning to go to the gym and get my butt moving. Sleep just usually wins. Also a little confession, I went to school last night dropped my homework off and left to go Halloween costume shopping. Good student, not so much. Killer Halloween costume, check!
katz, how did you like that class? I really want to take one but I'm a little nervous.
I will admit I was nervous and so was DH, but it was so much fun. Once you get going its ok if you are a little "off" from everyone. The instructor was great and there was probably about 50 people in the class. It seriously was one of the best aerobic workouts I have ever had, and back in the day I used to do Aerobic kickboxing, step aerobics, and regular aerobics. I say try it, if you like a high energy workout then zumba is for you.
