Newbie
I am new to The Nest so I thought I'd introduce myself.
DH and I got married on June 13, 2009. We are from North America, met while working on cruise ships, and have been living and working in China for the past 3 years. Its a little crazy but we have fun.
Any advice about how to navigate the boards? Or where to start?

I would say to lurk on some of the boards that sound like interesting topics to you before jumping in. Some of the boards are more friendly than others (I'd like to think we are one of the more friendly ones
)
Also, the search function at the bottom of the page is your friend. One thing that will get negative responses across the boards is asking the same question someone else just asked 3 posts ago.

Ditto everything lucky said. Lurking, especially at the beginning, is your friend. The boards here are pretty specific in terms of meeting your interests. I frequent Crafts & Entertaining Ideas, personally. I sometimes pop over to What's Cooking because I like the blog updates people post.
Welcome! Sounds like you are pretty well travelled!
Ditto what the others said, lurk for a bit so you can understand the style of a board before you jump in an post on most of the national boards but most of them are pretty welcoming if you dont ask a question that was just asked. I personally only post here and on What's Cooking but I lurk on Decorating and Renovating, Health and Fitness and Money Matters every so often.
