Sounds like people have had enough of the noisy bags...can't say I am sad about it since I haven't bought a bag of those chips since the new bags came out...not that I am a huge chip eater in the first place.
Re: SunChips Bag Revolt...
It's sad they try to do something good for the earth and people freak about the crinkle of the bag.
Exactly! It's just a chip bag. There are worse problems going on in the world!
I'm glad they're keeping the compostable bag for the original flavor--that's my favorite anyway. I almost never buy chips, but when I do, I like Sun Chips, and the compostable bag made me more likely to buy them (not less). But I'm a hippy like that
I'm still really glad that they gave the compostable bag a try. Hopefully they'll be able to respond to the public feedback (from those who care about chip bag noise) and design a quieter compostable bag that will be acceptable to more people.
I agree with this. I thought the noise was actually funny! In most cases I would just put some in a bowl and then eat them. I think it is awesome that they are trying to do something that is good for the earth.
Exactly! Yes, the bag is louder, but its better for the environment. DD likes the bag too!
