Tell me about yourself
So I've been posting here and there lately but I don't feel like I know anything about you guys. Tell me a few interesting things about yourself!
I'm Ali (probably obvious from my screen name - haha). I'm 24 years old and I've been married for a little over a year. I'm from about as far south as you can go in KY, but currently live about as far north as you can go in KY 
My H is in law school and I work in Student Affairs. We have an 8 month old puppy named Bella, who is a boxer/who knows what mix we got from a rescue group. I love reading, walking/running, and Jersey Shore 
.

Hello! My name is Jene and I'm a data manager/analyst for a non-profit. Husband is Charlie, he's a materials and chemical engineer trying to make it with his own business after getting laid off. It's been almost 2 years and we're not in the poorhouse, so I'd say he's doing well! We have a 2 year old son, also named Charlie, and a 3 month old kitten, also named Charlie. We call him Darwin to limit confusion (the kitten, not the toddler!).
We're on the east side, and I like to say that we ended up there because it's closer to Jersey
I like yoga, reading, and Euchre, and I LOVE baseball (go Yankees!). I'm not into Jersey Shore, but I'm way into the Real Housewives of Orange County/NYC/NJ and I love watching 90210 reruns.
I usually post on the baby board because the traffic moves faster over there, but I'm interested in trying to revive the local nest board, too!

It fails to mention my love of Euchre, but I'm feeling compelled to mention it now in light of Jene's mention of it. I'm a Euchre-mentioning sheep.
As you might tell by my screen name, my husband is a FT firefighter. We have a 2 yo daughter, three dogs, and two cats.
Originally from Clermont County, I now live & work in NKy.
I'm a proud UC alum (Go Bearcats!), and a self-admitted band nerd.
I work FT as the sole support staff for a 40 person division, and do everything from web adminstration, to budget coordination, to basic administrative support, and everything in between.
The #1 hobby for DH & myself is scuba diving.

I'm Karen (25-ish) and I'm a buyer for a company that builds cranes (mostly offshore). My husband, Adam (31), is an engineer. We're currently living in New Orleans but I lived in NKY all my life. We moved here two years ago for my husband's job.
We're DINKs and we're LOVING it. We have 2 dogs (Mason & Abby) and 3 cats (Victoria, Oliver & Virgil). Mason was rescued from the Clinton County Humane Society, north of Mason, Ohio, which is how he got his name. Abby is a cajun puppy we rescued at an adoption drive in Baton Rouge. She loves shrimp.
I miss home and it's really hard being "green" in a "red" state. It is nice that our football team won the Super Bowl and Mardi Gras is a paid holiday. We spend most of our time with the dogs and watching Netflix (Dexter, where have you been all my life?). While we don't enjoy this "hobby", we seem to drive a lot. That's mostly because there are only a handful of roads to take you where you want to go. Makes me wonder what they're doing with the 10% sales tax they have...
Hey, I'm Ashley and I'm 27. My husband (25) and I been living in Dayton for a wapping 2 months. We're here because my husband is AF and is getting his masters degree at Wright-Patterson AFB (AFIT for those that might know about it). We live on base housing...which is...well...base housing. We're only here for 18 months, but we're trying to make the most of it because we are really loving it here.
We also have a Cocker Spaniel, Emmett, who we love and is our world. We spoil him rotten, but that's okay because he pays us back with cuddles and kisses!
Before I got married I was born and raised in Colorado.
In my free time I craft, cook and decorate. I am also trying to lose 50ish pounds so that I can fit into my cute clothing again(yep clothing looking good on me again is a great motivator).
A crazy fact is that I "collect" shoes. I say "collect" because it makes me feel better about the 240 shoes I own. Oh yeah you read that correctly.

I'm Lesley and P and I are both 38 (ouch it hurts to say that out loud). We live in Maineville and have been married for 4 years today. I'm a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser and I specialize in eminent domain. P is a computational chemist. We have a cute little kitty that's 11 now.
We are both overgrown kids. We spend tons of our free time playing WoW and card/board games along with the occasional video game.
Interesting fact: P was born in Bombay and is Hindu but he went to a Catholic elementary school while still in India.

I'm T (I hate to be silly about not giving my name here but we've had some drama issues w/ people over the years). We are about to hit our big one year anniversary in a few weeks (eeeeeeeekkkkkkk!) I'm excited!
My job is lame, but it pays the bills and its what is putting me through school. I have been going to school p/t at night and on the weekends for 4 years. I'm majoring in Psychology w/ a minor in Criminology and cannot wait to work in that field. My H is in school f/t for Culinary Management and currently is a chef at a very nice restaurant downtown and loves it.
We have a cat named Yammy who is our baby (we're DINKS & always will be) and she knows it. We named her that b/c she is a calico that has brown black, white, and an orange/brown coloring. We got her about 2 weeks before Thanksgiving and I wanted to name her something related and it really looks like she is a pan of semi burnt yams w/ marshmallows on top. We both love watching movies, reading, doing outdoorsy stuff, going out to eat...We're pretty easy going & enjoy just about everything.
I'm Laura, 42. DH is Tom, 45. We like to play cards, scrabble, hike, football (go Bengals!). We are going to celebrate our 2nd anniversary next week. We love dogs, but we don't have one at the moment.

DH and I are 41 and have been married a little over a year now. We actually went to high school together and reconnected at our 20 year class reunion 3 years ago.
We have a Golden Retriever and 3 cats--all of which I had before we started dating. Fortunately, he liked them so I kept him around! We love to travel, go to Reds games and try different restaurants.
We currently live in South Covington but are thinking about moving to Covington or Newport.
I am Cara, a 29 year old Supply Chain Management Consultant . DH is BJ a project manager for a construction company and a 8th grade football coach for his grade school . We have a 5 year old yellow lab and will be married for 3 years next week.
We live on the west side of Cincinnati. We currently have "Dupree" (DH's best friend) living with us, which makes life interesting. My job requires me to travel every week Monday thru Thursday, I currently go to Austin TX every week. Lately I have been dreaming of a new job where I can stay in Cincy all week.
I'm Angie, a 26 year old college senior (graduate in December). My husband is Nathan a 23 year old college student. When we are not in southern KY for school we live with his parents which is in Newport, Ky. I only recently moved to Newport from south eastern Ky.
Me and N have only been married for 4 months.We have no pets at this time landlord doesn't allow them. We are planning on rescuing at least 1 dog and 1 cat when we move back up to Newport.
In our spare time (when we actually have time) we like to read, play video games, watch movies and travel. I am a HUGE Disney lover.
I'm Kate (29)...I'm an in-home children/family therapist. (I work in the families' homes, not mine!) H is Mark (28)...he works in digital media/online stuff that I don't fully understand, and he's in school to be a pilot.
I like running; H runs with me when his knee isn't completely screwed. At the moment, his knee is completely screwed.
We like food - we cook and eat and watch lots of food network. We like movies and video games and poker and camping and music and vacations. We have no kids and two fat orange cats, Rocky and Napoleon, who I brought into the marriage. 
Rocky is almost 5, but thinks he's still a baby, and Napoleon was a stray who is 7 or 8 maybe. We like trivia and crossword puzzles because we're nerds!

I'm Laura and I'm married to A - we actually just celebrated our 1st anniversary last Monday so that was really exciting
We are actually both born and raised in MI but moved to Cincy not too long ago when he was offered a new job here. He works downtown in procurement and I just started a new job as an executive assistant, hoping to move up in the company. We have a 1.5 year old golden retriever/black lab rescue and right now she's our little one. We're living on the east side in an apartment now and have just started looking at homes; we're hoping we will be able to purchase when our lease is up next March, kinda scary! H and I are both in our mid-20s and have made a few friends but it's hard being away from friends and family so any new friendships have been much appreciated! H is a huge gear-head and is often covered in engine grease while I can't get enough of movies and books - although I've become a big fan of Glee and Teen Mom (embarrasing enough to admit).
It's great to meet all of you! Hopefully we'll get to chat more
