What does "no boxed gifts" mean?
I've been invited to a East-coast baby shower for a woman who lives in California. At the bottom of the invitation it says "no boxed gifts please." What does this mean?
Only gifts in bags? Please don't wrap gifts? Please ship gifts to the recipient's home? She's registered at diapers.com and target, so it's not like they don't want gifts, if that helps.

Greedy bastids. Half the fun of a shower is buying something cute to be unwrapped and oohed and aahhed. I had an "other coast" shower, and sucked it up and shipped a box of stuff back home.
"No boxed gifts" takes all the fun out of it.
