One of those days.

Anyone else having one today?

I just wanna punch someone in the ear and at the same time I want to cry my eyes out.

I found out yesterday that Gibson may have ADHD and they detect an early schizophrenia in him. We have to get a second opinion, but I have all these emotions right now and I don't know which one I want to use.

The person we have been talking to also thinks I'm depressed and thinks I should talk to someone.

This has been a terrifying roller coaster ride and I just want to close my eyes and have it all go away when I open them again.

If anyone was wondering why I don't post much anymore, this is why. I'll try to post more, but I've had a lot on my plate and just can't eat anymore.

Anyone else want to vent? Scream? Punch someone in the ear?

Re: One of those days.

  • First of all, I am so sorry you are going through this!

    We may not close tomorrow.

This is day #149! Our offer was accepted 149 days ago and we still have no house.

I am about to go to the bank and take care of this myself. TO top it all off we have rented out our condo. Which is a huge relief but he is moving in next Friday which means if we don't close by then we are homeless. I just want my house already. I have been patient enough!

  • Yup. Last night I found out that one of my childhood dogs was put to sleep. She would have been 15 in November, so it wasn't a shocker, but it sill wasn't fun to hear.

I also found out from my brother that a friend of his was killed in a motorcycle accident over the weekend. He had just gotten back from basic training (not my brother.)

I also talked to my mom this morning to find out that my gramps has cancer in his stomach now, after beating Myeloma (or blood cancer) last year.

Needless to say, I'm not having a good day and am praying for a better end to the week.

*DK- my brother had ADD and a friend had ADHD. They are both things that children will fight and struggle with, but normally they get through pretty well in time. The schizophrenia would not be fun, so hopefully they can get a handle on it now. Stay strong and keep your head up.

*lisa - I could use a punch to someone's throat. Give me the name of your bank.

  • Donna - how old is he again? I have two schizophrenic cousins, both of whom were hit by it much later in life. What signs of schizophrenia is he exhibiting?

Lisa - I hope you get the house, like NOW.

Snoopy: I'm sorry, that sounds like a brutal week. =(

  • Lisa - Geesh, I hope that you get the house soon. I would be really frustrated as well.

Snoopy - I am sorry you are having such a bad week.

Donna - I am so sorry that you are dealing with all of this.  I will keep you and the kids in my T&P's.

He will be 5 on the 17th.

It's still a little early to tell if this is what the problem is, but some of the stuff that he says scares the crap out of me. He tells me he hears voices all the time that tell him to do bad things, to hurt himself or other people. He says he sees ghosts and has regular conversations with them. He's always fidgeting and twitchy and looking around, can't really concentrate. Tells me often that he can't hear me because the "monsters in his brain" are too loud and don't want him to listen. He sees hand coming out of his walls in his bedroom. I had to move his bed away from all his walls just so he will sleep in it.

There's a short list, but we have to see a psychiatrist for a second opinion.

  • Donna - I'm sorry to hear all of this is going on.  If he does has schizophrenia, it is much better if it is diagnosed and treated earlier on so hopefully you'll get some answers.

I'm hoping this gets treated soon, I don't know how much more my body, or well-being can take.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers, I wasn't sure if I should mention it on here, but I feel a little better that I am able to talk to someone on the outside about it.

  • Donna, I'm so sorry you're going through this.  I'll keep you and your little guy in my prayers.  Hopefully it's not schizophrenia, but if it is at least you are getting him help early on.  Hugs!

To everyone else that had bad days - so sorry :(  Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
