QOTD

How much tv do you watch per week?

Re: QOTD

  • None, except football.  A few college games, and NFL on Sunday and Monday night.

  • Zero. Haven't owned a TV in five years.
  • A lot, but not as much as I used to.

We leave the TV on the local (sucky) morning news station in the morning during breakfast and PVR a whole bunch of stuff, but generally don't watch it for a few days.  We usually spend a Friday or Saturday night in getting caught up.

  • I don't actually watch a lot but V likes to have it constantly on in the background, for some reason. Like, he'll be in another room, so I'll turn the TV off, and then when he walks by again, he turns it back on. Weirdo.

So anyway, I'll watch parts of football games on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. And we often watch Star Trek (off our DVDs) for an hour or two in the evenings. But I don't really follow any other TV shows.

  • My TV is on all day long. I have never seen so many cartoons in my life! I guess kids will do that to a person though. I usually watch tv after the kids go to bed, but mostly I'll sit on my computer while the tv is turned on at night.

  • A couple hours a night generally, but like many others I tend to multitask while the tv is on. I'm also a turn the tv on for background noise person. On the weekends, I mainly watch sports.
  • Way too much. I would say at least 2 to 3 hours every night and 4 hours on Saturdays and Sundays. I think it's worse now that I'm home every night and can't do anything around the house. I need to get myself to the library to check out some books and I think that will cut back on my tv watching time.

  • It depends on the day. Some days I get cozied up with a book or project at the house. Then DH will find something to do for work or help me. Most nights I watch it to put me to sleep. I haven't slept well for quite some time, so it ranges from 20 minutes to 5 hours. I could probably live without TV, minus putting me to sleep.

  • Week nights, I watch very little - maybe an hour a night (max), but weekends I watch a lot of sports.
  • Is a crap ton a legitimate quantity?  I turn it on as soon as I get home around 6:45 and it's on until at least 11:45.  Now, I am up cooking dinner, and Nesting and whatnot, so I'm not paying attention to all of it.
