I survived meeting prison!!
It's Wednesday and the presentation was sent out yesterday at 5:00. I arrived promptly at 5:30 to meet HH and my dad at the fundraiser. I was so glad HH got to come because I hadn't seen him since Sunday! He's asleep when I leave in the mornings and he was asleep when I got home Monday night.
The fundraiser was the Boys & Girls Club Steak & Burger Dinner. The original concept was that the kids would eat steak and the adults eat burgers, but over the years, it's reverted back to normal - so we all had a steak dinner! It was wonderful and the program that the kids put on was awesome. I had a couple of drinks, enjoyed a great meal, and got to see my dad and my husband! Great way to celebrate my release from prison!
Still going to be in meetings today to wrap up the budget numbers. But the bulk of the pressure is off. I'm hoping to get to check in today and catch up on what the rest of the world has been doing since I started doing time last week.
Pamila - your post yesterday made me smile! We're down to four weeks as of Friday this week...can't wait!!!

My prison is over, but I'm still on house arrest. Set up in the conference room again for the day to continue to work on the budget numbers. And now my boss my night even get to present because they took her and two others off the agenda - WTF?!

UGH for the budget stuff! Awesome that the fundraiser went so well!! Wooohoo on seeing 2 of the most important men in your life and spending time with them!!!
I can't wait for that 4 weeks to be done and surviving my soon to the 18 year olds birthdays UGH!!! Loving it! Can't believe its been 18 years!
