So mentally this has been a hard week for me (job-related). In spite of that, I'm trying to keep a positive attitude, so let's post what we're thankful for today!
My unbelievably supportive (and employed
) husband. He has been my rock through my job uncertainty and I don't know what I would do without him.
Our little peanut, he has been SO active this week and it's just amazing to experience this. I have to say, so far, I really enjoy pregnancy!
Our fur-baby Koda-bear, he continually puts a smile on my face the second I walk in the door until we go to bed at night.
The cherry coke that is sitting on my desk right now (I know, bad Heather, but I really needed a pick me up!).
Frosted cookies that are at home waiting for me to come devour them ![]()
Re: Thankful Thursday
I am constantly thankful that my parents are in pretty good health.
I am thankful that DH and I don't really have any drama going on right now, because most of our friends do.
And I am thankful for the hot cup of tea on my desk. My hands are really cold, and the cup is nice and warm.
I'm thankful that this Air Force training is finally, finally, FINALLY almost over. Today is H's official last day in school, then he gets a four day weekend, has graduation, and he starts his journey home. This time next week, I'll be driving to pick him up!!
I'm thankful for that big thing of ice cream I just ate for lunch. I need to stop eating snacks [and eating out] as much, but I just needed that today.
I'm thankful for JJ. He's the most amazing child, and I love him more and more everyday. The fact that he's almost 2 still blows my mind.
I'm thankful for my dad. Of course, I'm thankful for my mom and sis, too...but my dad is making a sacrifice so that he can give us a better life [and my parents a better retirement]. I miss him a lot more this time around than I did the last time, but I know that he's doing what he loves. He's so awesome.
Much as I hate not having an actual job and a steady income, I am thankful for the business I've got and the fact that working for myself affords me the luxury of really building the other two businesses and of watching my nephew as much as I do and really being involved in his life. I was never really close with extended family, so I'm glad I get to be his cool aunt who was always there.
I'm grateful for how the soap business and face painting have both been taking off.
I'm grateful that H is so supportive and wants me to be happy.
I'm grateful that we found a great place to live.
And last but definitely not least, I'm grateful for having freakin' awesome friends.

I'm thankful for my job. As much as I don't like doing it, I do like the pay that is keeping us afloat while DH is unemployed. And I'm thankful that I get to work from home because my schedule is so much more flexible.
I'm thankful for wonderful parents who send me birthday presents in the mail
Even though I'm not allowed to open them yet, I'm glad they're on top of things.
I'm thankful for my DH, who could be depressed and mopey about being unemployed but isn't. Instead he's going full steam ahead making his balsam wreathes for Christmas. And he has taken on a lot of responsibilities around the house while I work, including 90% of the cooking.
The Sand in My Snow Boots
I'm thankful that H had a great interview today for a job that seems like it would be perfect for him! I haven't talked to him yet about all the details, but he called me after the interview, on his way to his current job and said, "Now I just have to decide if I want this job or not!"
I'm thankful for the free time I have right now since I'm unemployed.
What a wonderful post.
I am thankful for my family; my family's good health.
I am thankful H is making me dinner right now.
I am thankful for the gym, because my clothes don't fit me so well and I need to change that!
I am thankful for my job, even though it's a big PIA.

I'm thankful for my baby girl who had a great check-up at the dr today.
I'm thankful for harvest, which has been picture perfect so far both weather-wise and yield-wise.
I'm thankful for my family and friends who are so supportive and generous.
I'm thankful for coffee, nectar of the gods.
And this too.

I am thankful for my DH. He works really hard everyday. He is really making an effort to communicate better and make our relationship stronger. I am so happy that he wants to go back to school as well!
I am thankful for my family. As dysfunctional as we are, I love each and every one of them.
I am thankful for my job and the opportunity given to me. I want to go to school for business, and later in life I am hoping that having a degree and experience will pay off. Right now, it's stressful, but I am learning and growing so much!
I am thankful for being able to pay bills. To have a roof over our heads, to have food on the table, and to be able to help out my mom and our friends every now and again since they're going through rough spots.
