Date Nite Ideas?

Any good date nite ideas for my husband and I?

We're adventurous, so we're up for anything whether it be outdoors or whatever.

Just looking for some new ideas to help keep a variety to our date nites!

Re: Date Nite Ideas?

  • Go see a play at a theater.  Go rock wall climbing.  Go walk around at an antique mall/ flea market.  Check out a science museum or art museum.  Explore your town's Downtown.  Take a cooking class for couples.  Take ballroom dance lessons.  Be a tourist in your own city/town.

You may find it necessary to travel a bit (depending on where you live), but that can be an adventure all on its own.  Good luck!

  • Ditto the PP. Most, if not all cities have a website (if not the city than the state) and you can see daily events happening that can be exciting (ie, community days, restaurant week, etc).

Also going to a new restaurant usually helps or even different cuisine. GL!

  • My favorite date night is is candlelight dinner with my husband at home. I make a special dinner he provides the wine.  can be very romantic Wink or relaxing depending on the mood. We also like going downtown.

I like the dancing classes idea from above we might do that

  •    Around here the "skirt and no knickers outfit" is always a winner.
  • I wish we had a date night...I would suggest going for a walk.  If you live near a beach, build a fire.  Have a picnic.  If you have a fireplace and if you want to stay in, light a fire, cuddle with a nice glass of wine or hot chocolate and watch a movie.  Take out your wedding DVD or photos and reminisce about your wedding and honeymoon (you could even try on your wedding dress again).

We are on a budget, so going out to dinner is a rare thing for us.  If you can't afford a whole meal, especially if you want to get dressed up and go to a fancy restaurant, just go for dessert or drinks.  You can still dress up and it won't be as hard on the wallet.

I like the idea of a home cooked (or even take out) candlelit dinner.

Massages are always good, too.  Light some candles and get a nice bottle of massage oil (Bath and Body Works has some nice candles and massage oils in their "sensual" aromatherapy line).  Take a bubble bath together, again light some candles play some soft music.

If you have a lot of lingerie, have a fashion show for your husband.
