If this doesn't get me some MIL points, then I don't know what will.
Went to book our tickets for our cruise tonight. BIL and SIL were trying to get everyone to drive down with them, no thanks. DH calls MIL says we're booking now, tickets already went up $30. In the course of a minute I could tell that the idea of her booking plane tickets online was a somewhat foreign concept.
I say to DH, ask her if she wants me to book all 4 of us together, so that way we're all in a group, etc. She's like, yes please.
So we're booked, all 4 of us, same flights, seats together, etc. So they just owe us a check for their half.
Yep, definitely earned some DIL points tonight.

I read somewhere, for the next time you book tickets, the cheapest times to buy tickets are Tuesday afternoons. Drew and I put this theory to the test when we booked our flights for vacation. He looked on Sunday and then looked again on Tuesday following my advice and they had gone down by $60/pp!!

LOL Pooks! I will say depsite my MIL you definitely win in that dept.
Tania-I've heard the Tuesday/Wednesday thing too, but we've been actually following the flights the last couple weeks and were waiting on MIL to decide. Unfortunately it cost us an extra $30 booking last night instead of Tuesday, but we're still saving money b/c we don't have to fly down a day before the cruise and deal with a hotel for the night.
