Queens/LI GTGs?
Hi ladies!
I know most of the GTGs are usually in the city - but would anyone be interested in doing something out in the suburbs? I live near Bayside and most of my friends are in the city, so I'd love to meet some people who are closer by.

We can have a GTG in Queens. Actually at the last GTG in Manhattan, almost all of us were from Queens. Where were you thinking? I do live in Bayside too. Some of the other Queens Nesties don't drive, so it's easier if it's by a subway.
We should have another GTG soon. I might try my hand at organizing one.

Yay! This could be really fun. So the subways in Queens are in Forest Hills, Astoria, Woodside... does one location work more than the others?

I don't know Woodside, but I know Forest Hills. Anyone have suggestions for places? I haven't been able to make a GTG so I'm not sure what kind of locations are usually chosen.
I do know Woodside from working there 7 years. Not sure where there, I think there might be a wine tasting place. There is a really good Thai restaurant.
Otherwise in Forest Hills, we could find a restaurant or a place for drinks on Austin St. Would a Friday night work? or brunch on Saturday or Sunday? Recommendations, PeepToes or 315 Bride?
Yes! I'd be up for a Queens GTG. I am familiar with places in Astoria, LIC, Sunnyside, Woodside, and Forest Hills. Not sure what people would want for a location. I could foresee a plethora of places: coffee shop, diner, beer garden, pizza, burgers.
