Happy Friday! Weekend Plans?
It's Friday!! Work is super busy. I'm being pulled in about 5 different directions and with 2 sets of supervisors at the moment, it's a bit difficult. I spoke up at the end of a mtg yesterday with all the big players and said, look I've got 4 projects and you want me to semi-work 2 more until more people are hired, I need some help. Thankfully my Director was able to get rid of one project and hopefully another will be on its way off my plate next week.
Weekend plans: My mom is coming down this weekend to start moving some stuff into their condo, do some cleaning (we're planning on getting a shark steam mop!!!!! 
) and buy some furniture. Last wknd her and my dad went to a couple stores by them that we have here, so she knows what they're getting.
DH and I also need to look for a japanese maple. It's the last part of the front flower beds and we need to get it before it gets cold.
Monday I'm off and I hope to finally use my GAP groupon and hit up Old Navy for some basics.

I'm supposed to be going to the fall cover unveiling of Charlotte Style magazine tonight, but really considering skipping out on it. I RSVP'd yes over 3 weeks ago, so I feel bad about it, but I'm in a completely unsocial mood today.
Saturday we're planning on just having a lazy, hang out, maybe go to ikea kind of day. I also want to stop by West Elm to see all of their new fall decor. Saturday night we have a friends birthday party.
We're actually thinking about driving to the mountains and going hiking on Sunday. That'll be fun

I'm late to work this morning b/c I'm not feeling too well. Ick.
For the weekend, I hope we're going to go apple and pumpkin picking, take a run together (with our new jogging stroller that I'm in love with and Jacob seems to like!), do some clay foot and handprints of Jacob and maybe even go get his portraits taken. We have yet to get professional pictures of him and I'm feeling like a bad mom b/c he's changed SO much in the past 7 months! We have very few pictures that really capture his spirit, in sharp focus! All the good expressions are blurry.
Oh, and I'm going to clean off the toys I bought at a consignment sale last weekend. It looks like it might be nice enough to do it outside with Jacob on a blanket. He's going to love looking at the leaves fall and his grandmother just sent us a homemade picnic blanket / quilt that we'd like to use before it starts snowing.
Not too exciting is it ...
Tonight - hoping to get out of work a little early. My sister and the kids are coming down this afternoon. So tonight we will be grilling hot dogs, playing in the hot tub, and probably watching Cloudy with a Chance on Meatballs on Netflix.
Tomorrow - my sister and I are going take the kids apple picking. Then we'll make an apple crisp. Then probably hang out and play video games with the kids.
Sunday - breakfast with MIL and my sister and the kids will head home.
Monday - I have to work.
We are going to Cincinnati to go wedding dress shopping for my sister!! I'm excited! We'll also stop by Ikea, which is always a treat

Tonight - haunted house, I loooove these and love that we have so friggin' many in my area, my sister and I do one where you can get your money back but have never come friggin' close to figuring it out but it's still fun
Sat - many, many errands hopefully meat up with a friend for her sons soccer game and then a kid friendly haunted house, dinner in with DH looking like pork tenderloin yummmm

Saturday--fall cleaing continued! I've been washing fall stuff-comforters, etc... so I have to do normal laundry and keep cleaning. Jim is working in the garage...
Sunday--we are heading to the apple orchard/pumpking patch. I hope we can get some good pictures of Duncan and really enjoy ourselves.
Monday--I have the day off so I plan some super snuggle/mommy time with Duncan.
Tonight-- Sleeping
Tomorrow- Driving to Charlotte
Sunday- Going to the Bears/Panthers game

Tonight - Going to the Homecoming game at my old high school with a friend.
Tomorrow - My sister is going to the Homecoming dance and I promised her that I'd go to her friends house and take pictures of them.
Sunday - I'm sure we're going to be doing something to the house. Either working on Part 2 of the deck or working on the sidewalk.
Monday - Probably a continuation on whatever work is done on Sunday. I'm also scheduled to do a family shoot for some friends. I may see if they want to move this to Sunday evening because it might rain here Monday.

Tonight- relaxing...I was up with Xander from 1-330 last night, so I am beyond tired today.
Saturday- it will be me and Xander running some errands and hopefully getting a nice nap together. I also need to clean up this place. Last weekend was a mess that it never got done. Andrew will be in the city at the hospital visiting his dad.
Sunday- Hopefully going to Sesame place with Xander, my sister and niece. But they are both sick so I doubt that will happen. If not I will be hanging out with my mom and dad.

I am so late on this but, oh well.
Tonight- I met Ben at work and hung out with some friends for a bit. Then Ben and I went on a mini pre-anniversary date to Cheesecake Factory. Now doing laundry and packing.
Tomorrow- finish packing, run to the bank (because I stupidly forgot to take the checks to work with me today), ride subway to airport and then a miserable 9 hour plane ride
Sunday- switching planes in Amsterdam, checking into flat, wandering around
