Happy Friday! Weekend plans?
The week went by pretty fast, actually. Looking forward to one more day of outdoor doubles v-ball with some friends tomorrow, then a wedding banquet Sunday night. The rest of the time I hope to do a lot of crafting so I can make some progress on an afghan I'm making for my mom for Xmas.

My friend is visiting from Boston. She gets in tomorrow, so we have a weekend full of sightseeing, eating, and shopping (for her!)
I don't have Monday off, so it's back to work for me.

I didn't even think about the fact that it's a holiday weekend for some. Jealous.
Happy Friday, indeed! I have a long weekend ahead of me as well, I'm off today through Monday. My work schedule is pretty non-traditional, so its not atypical for me to work on the weekends, so I'm excited to have several consecutive days off!
We'll be visiting with family this weekend, my sister will be on Fall Break so I'm excited to visit with her. I'm looking forward to just relaxing maybe doing some final canning for the season.

We have no big plans this weekend. Saturday night we're going to a friend's house for dinner, and Sunday morning we're having brunch at my mom's. It'll be a pretty laid back weekend for us.
The H has monday off so I took it as a floating holiday so I am off too. Tonight I really want to go out, but H slept probably 3 hrs last night so we shall see if he's up to going out. It will probably just be for dinner and some beers so nothing big.
Tomorrow morning I want to get up early and mow/seed the lawn and close our pool finally. We've been putting it off and more and more leaves keep falling into it. Friends of ours are having a bags tourney (some of you might call it cornhole) with about 12 teams tomorrow starting at 2. I am sure that will go sufficiently into the night.
Sunday and Monday we have no idea what we're doing which is the greatest feeling in the world.
I only learned about cornhole a year or two ago when my neighbors got a set. 12 teams is a ton of people!
Ah, I love cornhole! We played every time we tailgated during college, its pretty big in the Midwest. I'm ashamed to admit that I play worse without holding a beer in my left hand. Cornhole and beer is just such a natural combination.
