Good thoughts for my 'furbaby' please-
Our lab Chloe had a pretty bad seizure on Sunday morning- what a way to end our vacation. Neither of us had any idea what was going on, so at first I thought I was watching her die and was unable to do anything. It was terrifying.
Luckily she snapped out of it quickly and has been fine since. She's 7years old and otherwise perfectly healthy. Going in for bloodwork tomorrow, and if that doesn't show anything it's just wait and see and hope it doesn't happen again.
Our vet said she has seen dogs in the past have 1 or 2 with no future occurences so please keep fingers crossed this is our case. I'm pretty nervous.

It can be tough..we had a rescue who started to seize- its heartbreaking...

OMG! I am so sorry you had to see that happen. It's horrible.
I had a dog that had epilepsy, from what I know, she only had maybe 3-4 episodes and she lived to be 14. It's so heartbreaking the only thing I could do was hold/cuddle her while it was happening, she seemed to really like that.
I hope it was a one time thing for Chloe! Keeping her in my thoughts!
