Morning all! I'm up relatively early on my day off because I have to take my car in to get my windshield replaced. Whomp whomp.
But, I also only have 4 minutes to finish my oatmeal, brush my teeth, and get out the door, so I'm off, but I'll be back later!
What's everyone else up to this weekend?

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Re: Happy Friday!
I hate posting on a Friday post, so I'll update on gramps in another one.
Tonight we got free tickets to a comedy club, so we're going with our fav couple to get in some laughter for a change this week. We should be getting dinner first, and I'm hoping for panara maybe.
Tomorrow I'm helping same friend make a cookie cake for her BF for his birthday. Plus, Macys is doing a suit sale so I'll hit that up in the morning with her to get some new duds. Tomorrow night is a bonfire and party for my cousin for her 18th birthday. Should be a blast.
Sunday is our nephew's 2nd birthday party and lots of football/baseball watching. Thankfully we have Monday off to get a weekend from our weekend. Holy plans batman.
Good morning!
Today started out great--I've just been hired on as a freelance writer for an educational organization I've worked with in the past. It's as-needed, but the president tells me it's going to be constant. A little extra money and some new creds are great! I'm so happy.
Tomorrow we have cleaning and the gym on our agenda, along with a quick grocery run. Sunday I'm running a race with a friend, and afterward my H and I are meeting up with my friend, her husband and her three kids for breakfast. Monday we have off, but it'll probably be a laundry/gym day.
Sometime during all of this, I plan on making a banana pumpkin bread recipe that another friend sent me.

Today I have to work until 6pm and then we might be hanging out with a friend tonight. He's one of those 'wanna do something Friday night?' kind of people who can't actually make any plans. Just say you want us to come over or leave us free to make other plans! I told H (it's his friend) to just get a time from him and they come here or we go there.
Tomorrow I will do my last long run before my half. My Dad is having Thanksgiving at his house so I get to hang out with family and play with my niece and nephew. DH is going out of town with his Dad to see their extended family.
Sunday I want to just lay around and be lazy. Monday is Thanksgiving and I'm working 8-12.
Happy Friday! I'm working only till noon today and then tailgating with sreihing tomorrow!

Not much going on tonight
Tomorrow we have the market in the morning and then football. Sunday...more football. No major plans this weekend, so I guess I'll just see where the weekend takes me.
I'm having an awful day. Spilled coffee on pants, huge subway delays, I stepped on a piece of raw onion, it got in my shoe and now my shoes (and foot) smell like onion.
But I'm going to Ottawa & the Cottage for thanksgiving tonight. I'm still super crotchety though.

Yay for Friday. If I'm feeling up for it, my BFF will come over to hang out and watch a movie or maybe catch a baseball playoff game.
No set plans for this weekend except to go out and find some maternity pants. I can't believe I need them already but my work pants are uncomfortable and I can't even fit into my jeans.
Hope you all have a great weekend ladies!
We're having dinner at our favorite restaurant that is going out of business tomorrow.
It was the first place we tried when we moved to town, we celebrated signing for the house there, as well as wine tastings and my birthday.
Tomorrow night we've got reservations for dinner downtown and tickets to see comedian Jim Gaffigan.
Sunday will be recovering.
Happy Friday!
Tonight I'm going shopping for work clothes with one of my best friends. She works for Kohl's and they're having a big sale plus she's giving me her discount so hopefully I'll get some good deals! After shopping we are taking my daughter to go visit my friend's 11 year old niece (who is also my daughter's friend) that was recently diagnosed with cancer. She is doing chemo 4 days a week now and is beginning to lose her hair
(
Tomorrow I am taking both my daughters to get flu shots and then just going to try to get some stuff done around the house. We might rent one of those carpet cleaner machines to clean the carpets.
Sunday is my nephew's birthday so we're going to my sister's house for pizza and cake & ice cream. He's doing a "10-10-10" theme since that's his birthday (even though he's tunring 11).
I hope everyone has a fab weekend & Happy Thanksgiving to the Canada ladies!
Sounds like everyone has fun weekends! I'm finally back from the glass place. Apparently it takes 3 hours to replace a windshield. That might have been nice to know ahead of time. Good thing I had already planned on hitting the gym while the work was being done, or I would have been booooored.
Tonight we're heading out to Derek's hometown to spend the long weekend with his family. Tomorrow we'll be heading out to the parade (it's fair weekend in his town) which his HS friends and then Sunday we'll be going to Thanksgiving dinner. Monday we make the trek back home.
And now, I'm going to enjoy the freaking beautiful weather we have right now while raking up the sticks on our lawn and then mowing it! Oh, and after that I'm making pumpkin pillows. Mmmmmm, pumpkin pillows.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Happy Friday, Ladies!
Sunday is my daughter's 20th birthday, so we're doing a big dinner for her. Tomorrow I'm taking a friend to a spa for a facial and manicure that her H set up as a surprise for her birthday. And it's homecoming weekend for my younger daughter, so I'll be hemming dresses and running errands for her and her friends.
Have a great weekend, everyone.
