jehawley!!

I just remembered that I had the weirdest dream last night and you and Dave were IN IT!!  Me and Matt were driving down the interstate and I'm like ""O   M   G!!  That's jehwaley!  Hurry up and get up next to them!"  And we're going like 75 mph and we pull up next to you and you and I roll down the windows and have this whole conversation about how I'm hrchick from TN and I can't believe I ran into you, etc.  Then we talked about how great your weekend was and all the things you guys did, which I can't remember any of those details besides you getting lit before you walked Stella last night. But of course I know that because you posted it on FB last night.

Anywho, I thought I'd share my silly dream. Hopefully it made you smile!

Re: jehawley!!

  • Hahahahahaha it DID make me smile.  And OMG I realllllly should have walked Stella before getting into that wine.  People go NUTS over her because she's so stinkin adorable, and she jumps like crazy...I wish there was a way to post a video of it here so you could see what I mean.

So of course, I take her down, and there are all these people in the lobby trying to pet her, and I'm trying to make coherent, pleasant conversation with them.  But I'm loud to begin with, get a few drinks in me and lookout!

Needless to say, my entire mouth (teeth and tongue) were purple from the wine, and I was a little too loud and a little too friendly, and my dog is molesting people, and I think I definitely got some side eye from a few people.

    Fail.

  • LOL My dog is like that too, I get stopped constantly, usually I wear a hat which I pull down so people can't see my eyes, and headphones, so I can try to ignore everyone lol. And she jumps like crazy, and has made small children cry. I hate trying to be coherent when I'm drunk, because I'm bad at that in the first place... lol

  • These scenarios you share are why I own a small dog.  He's 22 lbs and I don't need anything bigger.  Although I know that when we move to a bigger house with a decent size yard that can be fenced in, we are definitely going to get either a boxer or an English bulldog.  I won't have to worry about it if we get a bulldog, but the boxer will be a different story.  My parents have one and she is a jumper also.
  • Yeah... I saw that on FB last night too!  Hilarious!  I have a SMALL dog (jack russell) and SHE jumps like crazy, too!  But shes a little easier to control. HAHAHA!

I never understood why people think that it's ok to just come up and pet your dog.  Especially big dogs, but my JR can get nippy (children running around make her a little nervous).  How do THEY know that they're friendly.

Well I'm glad you didn't make TOO much of a scene J! But I would have loved to see a video of all this!  Where was Dave to tape it!?!?!

  • Chloe weighs 100 lbs, so when there's someone who walks by, she acts all innocent and then she wants to run toward them as they're walking by, and scare them because they think the big, mean black dog will get them.  As she starts to walk in front of me (she always walks on my left side) when someone's walking by, I have to warn people, she's very friendly, just very excited.  It annoys the crap out of me, because she knows better than to do that.

Admittedly , I was afraid of big dogs growing up, and look at me now.  haha
