I love that Dave is watching Hockey while his super hot wife is in the Jacuzzi! HAHAHA! Sounds like Kevin, only it would be baseball, or football, or basketball. Actually... We're about to have four Dallas sports teams going on all at once because the Rangers (baseball) are doing so well, Hockey just started, we're barely into the Football season and basketball just started pre-season! I'm going to kill myself.
We really need a second TV in this house.
Either way... I would love me some homemade chips and cucumber-y dip! I just made BBQ Chicken pizza that we are about to dig in to!
I just told Kevin that we need to take a trip to Canada sometime soon! HAHA!
I know, I know! Things have been so nuts! I'm glad you're having a fab vacation!!!!
We've been in the house 2 months and we still have so much left to do! I finally got around to painting the upstairs hallway this weekend!
On top of that I'm in a wedding next week and then another 3 weeks later.
Uhhhh we're going to Boston for the first time in 2 weeks.
Anddd I'm getting ready to start my master's.
Still no baby yet!
I mean... there's a lot of stuff we watch together. Sports are just boring on TV to me. I get way to distracted with other things! I do much better actually AT games! And we LOVE basketball in this house. It's prolly the one sport that I don't complain about watching on TV too much. It just seems like this time of year, there's a game of some sort on EVERY night and it gets annoying.
Especially when they interfere with something I want to watch. HAHAHA
We're going to Boston in 2 weeks... I guess It's like a 9 hour drive from here to Boston (approx 500 miles)... We're in Virginia, about an hour and a half South of Washington DC
I just came to terms with the fact that I would no longer watch TV or movies because sports would always be on. Matt watches EVERYTHING. Including golf. He actually watched the Master's or whatever that was tee off at like 2 in the morning last month. He also watched the freaking World Cup and I had to listen to those @#$% vuvuzulas for like a month.
I watch Steelers games, of course, and if it's an important Pens game, I'll watch that, too. I loathe basketball and soccer, but everything else is at least bearable. I just hang out with him on the couch and read or knit while he watches the game(s).
haha i hope you had fun last night, i was worried you were going to drop your phone in the jacuzzi!!!!!
Matt will sometimes hand me the remote and say "Here, you put on what you want." I just stare at him blankly because I have completely forgotten what shows are on TV. Also, in the rare event that I do pick something to watch, I know that he's going to grab the remote back and toggle back and forth between what I'm watching and the game(s) or sports updates. He only does it during commercials, but it drives me crazy, so I just don't bother.
And, yes, Hayley, we need more details. I'm glad that you're still alive, all things considered!
Well I went up to west Seattle to go see a friend of mine that I've known like since high school. We were really close a few years ago but then we stopped talking, and of course while I was with Brandon I didn't see ANY guy friends or really talk to anyone at all (seriously, I once deleted my myspace account because a guy was talking to me and I didn't want Brandon to find out and get mad at me. Even though there was absolutely nothing inappropriate in the conversation)
so yeah we decide to have ourselves a little date haha not like a serious date, just for fun. So he took me to this cool brewery for dinner, and we went to see a movie, and originally I thought he had to go play at some house party later, he's a dj, but he ended up not having to and one of his friends called and said Let's go to a laser show!
So we go up to this guys house, and my friend he's always kinda been into recreational drugs, nothin real crazy, but he said oh and just so you know this guy is our drug dealer, and well I kinda grew up around that kinda thing cuz that's just the kind of people I was around in highschool so I'm like whatever, so we go up there, the bus is hilariously awesome, it's just like this random little short bus, I think it was grey (hah it was really dark, this was like 9:30 already, which is around when I normally go to bed) so we get on this awesome bus, it has a very loud sound system, apparently it has exterior speakers so it plays music outside too, and I dunno, it was just hilarious, cuz the drug dealer guy was driving and it just made me think that that could be in a totally weird movie, he was like dancing to the music while smoking a joint, and driving a bus to downtown seattle, the whole thing was just so weird and totally unlike anything I've done in the past three years. But tons of fun
and the laser show was very cool, but I was really cold cuz it was raining a ton and I forgot my jacket at home so I was all wet 
then I had to drive home, which takes an hour, and is not so much fun, especially when my CD player refuses to eject my CD or turn to radio so I have to listen to the same CD until finally I realize if I just hit the cd player, it will work after that.
