Happy Sunday!

What are you ladies up to?

I am trying to figure out what kind of bird is in my backyard.  We live on a lake and there is some kind of bird swimming (all we can see is the silhouette since it is like 12:20am) that is not a typical duck-coot-swan that we are used to!

  • Picked dh up from the airport and then drove down to Cerritos to our tax guy. Yes, I know it's not April. But we had filed an extension so we had to go turn in all our paperwork. Looks like we might actually get money back from Federal and owe for state. Which is awesome since we normally owe to both because dh's work is all 1099. We just got home and dh is taking a nap and I need to fix something for lunch.

  • I had day 2 of a workshop today so I just got home from that. Looking forward to having tomorrow off!
  • We had plans to go to the pumpkin patch today but I said eff it, let's stay home and sleep.  So we did.  I feel much better now. :)
  • Hey ladies! We did a bunch of financial/budgeting stuff today, which was rather exhausting. Then we played softball at night-we won! :)

  • Hi!!

Today I baked a bunch of sugar cookies (Halloween themed) so I can decorate them next weekend :) Then I went grocery shopping, did a little bit of work, then back home to cook my lunches and dinners for the week- it is the first time I've tried it- so let's hope all of the food freezes well so my lunches will be edible! :)

Don't worry about tomorrow. After all, today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. Take each day as it comes...one at a time. Midnight Baking Adventures Blog
