best and worst parts of your weekend.
Re: manic monday
Best: dinner with friends that we haven't seen in awhile. Five dogs went to their forever homes at Saturday's adoption.
Worst: Found out on Friday night that someone I love very much and am very close to (not DH) is addicted to prescription painkillers. I spent most of the weekend waffling between anger, sadness, fear, and denial. Lather, rinse, repeat.
Best: IL's finally left and I got to spend quality ALONE time with DH and AJ
Worst: MIL spilled RED WINE on my WHITE carpet on Friday and broke an expensive wine glass. FIL broke another wine glass Saturday morning before they left.
Best: DH is gong to talk with IL's about visiting for shorter amounts of time in the future...they literally move in when they are here and it is too much stress for me.
Amy- I'm sorry about your friend. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help. I've been clean and sober for over nine years.
Best- My sister got married! It was a great wedding (that was actually pretty similar to mine...
).
Worst- During the wedding, several things were stolen from the bridal room including the perfume I got as a bridesmaid gift and my huge, huge, huge bag of eye makeup (like all the eye makeup I own). I'm so mad!
Best - getting the kitties on Friday night and getting to know them over the weekend. Such personalities!
Worst - still dealing with health issues. I spent part of Fri & Sat night sleeping in the recliner to alleviate the pain. I made it through the night last night, but woke up in pain this morning. At least each night seems to be getting better. I wish I could lay on my side and sleep like I used to.
best - 4th row seats to the thrashers game on friday

Best - spending time with BF
Worst - getting food poisoning from La Parrilla that had me throwing up all night saturday night, keeping me out of church on Sunday morning. I had important things to do on Sunday, and instead spent all day sleeping until nearly 7pm. I missed out on my quality time with BF as a result. Grrrrr.
Best: made some great fried pies (that I actually baked), so tasty!
Worst: the kids in our Sunday School class were comeplete sh*ts yesterday. This was the first time they made me want to cry (I didn't though).
Best: Had a great date night with FI, State won a HUGE game and Bama lost!
Worst: We were supposed to pick up a dining set we were buying off of CL and refinishing (which I was super excited about) but it ended up falling through.
P&R - sorry you got food poisining. That sucks!
Amy - sorry about your makeup getting stolen...that sucks too!
Best: Had lots of fun activities with friends
Worst: Pulled a muscle on my long run on Saturday and by Saturday night I was hobbling up the stairs. And then we went to the Braves game and they lost. Heartbreaking.
best: georgia finally winning, and spending sunday at the GA national fair with my parents and DH
worst: i had some REALLY weird dreams...the kind that still have you feeling off when you wake up

Best - DH is finally going to have weekends off soon! Went shopping, got some good sales. Saw Life As We Know It, super cute movie. Florida State beat Miami, Florida State is ranked #16, Florida is #22 and Miami is not ranked. Anyone from Florida would know that's a good football weekend in Florida!!
Worst - Nothing really.
Best-The cyclocross race in Augusta. I had a great time seeing friends and racing on a fun course. Also Saturday night's Cocktails for the Cure to raise money for a friend's breast cancer 3 day walk team. She is a survivor.
Worst: Having a friend get hurt at the race.

That was completely heartbreaking!
Best: last minute dinner out to Bocado with friends and their little boy who is a couple months older than Azlyn.
Worst: I was supposed to play tennis on Sunday, but the other team defaulted last minute. I am sure they had known earlier that they were defaulting, but they waited until the last minute to let us know... and that ticks me off! At least took all the points from them.
Best: Got out of the house with hubby for date on Friday night and fair with friends on Saturday
Worst: Bit my lip while chowing down on funnel cake, and it STILL hurts
