it should be a pretty easy day here... i just need to find some motivation to clean off the piles on my desk.

Yup! But that's what happens when you work for yourself - no real holidays.
E's working today too, but he's got an easy day. He went in late, in jeans & a t-shirt, to go buy computer stuff with his manager for their new client (how come I can't shop for "work"?) and then get some other stuff done. I imagine he might be getting home early too.

I'm at work. But, it should be a fairly light day. Just some prep onstage for the show that comes in tomorrow.
Columbus day isn't a holiday for us. I don't think I've ever had it as a holiday.
I'm not off today but I took the day off. I just really needed a day to myself. No homework,lesson plans, grading - nothing. It's just me, Shrek and my Kindle
I'll run to Target though to pick up some groceries but I think I can handle that
I'm hoping today will let me regain some sanity!
