Football and more football!
So in our household, the Chicago Bears rule. As a college student, I became a true NFL fan and I picked the KC Chiefs as "my team" cuz I liked their colors and Joe Montana was cute. Fast forward to the first 7 years out of college, and I'm living in Chicago and a friend from college is playing for the Bears. So I become a dual fan - my team in the AFC is still the Chiefs, but I'm now a hardcore Bears fan (NFC) for obvious reasons. I went to several Bears games and got to meet some of the team among other things.
Fast forward to today - I've been away from Chicago for nearly 9 years (about 150 miles west on the IA/IL border) and Matt is a diehard, lifetime Bears fan. Hence, the Bears rule in our house. And since the KC Chiefs have stunk so badly the last few years, we don't EVER get any of their games here anymore.
But today, the Bears are 3-1 and playing Carolina at noon. And the Chiefs are 3-0 and playing the Colts at noon. And they are BOTH being aired here today!! One on Fox, the other on CBS. Matt has graciously allowed me to watch the Chiefs game because they are never aired here. Oh, how I love my husband!

It was a bye week for the Steelers, and none of our channels were airing the Giants game. We had to settle for hearing the final score on the radio on our way home from my parents' house.
Yay! haha Its only college ball in our house. I've never cared for NFL and HH isn't much of a fan either. We usually watch the Super Bowl, but honestly, I just watch it for the commercials
Hugs! I understand! Raiders are never shown. LOL I normally say they have more rust on them than the titanic! Today I cannot say that because we are playing better than we normally do. Yes I am a raiders fan have been for well over 20 years and well if we are doing good or bad I am there.
Funny thing about this is. My daughters father said he was a raiders fan forever this was while he was married to me. When he got together with his girlfriend who is a Chargers fan he now says he is Chargers fan! HAHA and they lost last night to the Raiders. Just so you know all of my daughters teased him last night because of this. I told him a while back that he is the girl in the relationship haha being a fair weather fan for whomever team his girlfriend favors. HAHA!!!
