DH finally heard from his company about that job he REALLY wanted.

He didn't get it.

Way to bring down the weekend, you dumb company.

UPDATE:

This is has become super super complicated. There's some high-level (think owners) people that have gotten involved to figure out what the heck happened. I can't really get into the specifics, but it's not over yet.

And yes, he did get that promotion. It's a small consolation.
