Hi All! It's me yjakel. I just realized with this shift onto the nest, I should take my first step into changing my name from Jakel. We haven't gotten our marriage certificate yet (mostly because I was having too much wedding time fun to mail it in), so I really haven't done it legally...but here's my first name change
Re: Reintroduction
Hi, Yuki! I kept my Knot name as my Nest name since I didn't use my last name in it at all.
I have to wait until after our honeymoon to take the steps to legally change my last name since my cruise ticket was booked in my maiden name, and we're not going on the honeymoon until 10/28 and will be gone until 11/7. I cannot WAIT!!!
I'm so excited for you!! I totally remember you posting about this cruise....you are going to have so much fun! Take lots of pictures and enjoy it all. I am supremely jealous.
Although I am excited now to take DH's name, I think I probably will cry when all of the new id's come in. I almost cried when I saw my escort card for my best friends wedding this weekend with my married name and that it said "Matron" of Honor. Holy Schnikies!
Holla...............Im to tired to change my name!! So therefore I am staying the way I am
Welcome NEWBIE HAHA
I was wondering why someone would feel the need to "reintroduce" themselves!
I've changed it with the bank (so we could deposit those Mr & Mrs checks), and throughout the week I'll be making the changes with SS and DMV and my other banks and stuff.
Signing my new name will take some getting used to. It's got letters that just don't flow smoothly into each other when you're in a rush!
I'm so glad to be "welcomed" by all of you
I can already see myself having a hard time signing my name. I'm still practicing my K's.
I'm not changing my knot/nest name. I do need to mail in my request for my marriage license. Right about now.
