What is going on with my body? My cycle has been all messed up since June. Never had issues before. It showed up early a couple months in a row, then it showed up even earlier a month after that. Then I had a month or 2 like clockwork based on the new start time of the previous one. Now I am 4 days late. I POAS yesterday and it said not pregnant. I don't feel any noticeable PMS symptoms either.
If it doesn't show up by the weekend I will test again. If it still says not pregnant I will call my doctor.
Re: I want to know
Sounds like you need to start charting your temps. It really is the only sure fire way to know what your body is doing. It will let you know when you are ovulating, and then when you can expect your period.
My cycle is all over the place too, that is why I've started charting again this month, otherwise I would constantly be thinking I was pregnant.
I'm sure its just stress and being non-stop since about June - between get togethers with friends, DH coming home from deployment, adjusting to having DH home, DHs broken leg, home improvement projects getting done. I've talked to my mom about it (she's was an ER nurse for years and is now one of the nursing directors at the hospital) and she agrees its just stress and my body does not handle stress well.
I'm not good about doing things at the same time every day so temping just wouldn't work well with me.
If you call the Dr. when you're only a little over a week late, they will probably tell you to wait until your cycle gets to 50 days or so (at least that's what mine said). There's really no way to tell if you're "late" unless you chart and know when you ovulated.
Trust me, I know how frustrating it is. I have been off BCP since April of 09 and I have yet to have two cycles that are even remotely close in days....which is why I have to get a camera stuck up my vag today.
Good luck!! Maybe AF will come soon!! OR, maybe you're pregnant which would be pretty awesome
I'm sure it is just stress. Our cycles are super finicky when it comes to any outside factors.
I didn't think I could wake up the same time every day and temp but I manage. I mean, you get up 5 out of 7 to go to work right? Unless you are super trying to use if for TTA or TTC you shouldn't have to worry too much about the weekends.
And Stacey is right, doc isn't going to be able to give you anything without having gone like 50-60 days without AF.

that always works too
whenever I start to think I am, I wait a day or two and NOT POAS because I know just when I think I am, that is when AF shows.
