Ebonie

OMG, he's home Friday?!  I suspect we won't be seeing you much for a while then? Wink

Re: Ebonie

  • Well, I'm SUPPOSED to pick him up on Friday from San Antonio. But he won't let me make any definite travel plans and told me that if I drive straight there on Thursday night instead of stopping at my parents' house, I'll miss a very important thing. Which makes me think he's coming home on Thursday and will be waiting on me when I get home. Which, if that's the case, I'll probably have a breakdown and cry. :P

He has recruiter duty for the next two weeks [so he works 9-5 at the Air Force recruiter station in Lawton, helping out the guy who recruited him], so I won't see a lot of him during the week. But I'm taking off Friday and possibly Monday, so yeah - probably won't see me for a few days. :)

I feel like I've been waiting forever for him to finally be home...I'm an emotional mess right now. I start crying when I think about him coming back. It's sad. :P

Oct.'13 Siggy Challenge: Cheers to Easter!
  • Aw...thanks ladies. I really appreciate it. I feel like I've been holding my breath since he left, and I can finally exhale and REALLY count the days until he's back and this training is over with. I'm so ready to have him home - we already have a date night for Saturday. I'm so excited. :)

He really likes it - it's given him the discipline he needs, which is awesome. I think he's nervous about getting deployed [there's an 80/20 chance he'll get deployed next spring/summer], and I am, too. But he really likes the Air Force and the bonds he's made so far, and he's working really hard. I'm so proud of him. :)

I think the idea of moving to Colorado is growing on him...he hates being cold, but I'm super excited about it - so I'm pumping him up about the move. We'll probably wind up buying a truck within the next year due to our new terrain, and he is REALLY excited. Boys.
