Has anyone tried this recipe? Is it any good?

Im thinking about trying it out tonight, not sure what to serve with it.

Re: French's crunchy onion chicken?

  • yep. i've made it quite a few times. it's yummy! the only thing i don't like about it is the bottom seems to get soggy when it cooks. but the top pieces are crispy.

i usually make mashed potatoes and green beans with it.

i have a hard time not eating all of the onion crunchies before I put them on the chicken. They're so tasty. I put them on my hamburger every once in a while if we have extra around.

  • Yum, thanks!  It sounds so good.  I had planned to try it tonight but its just too hot to turn the oven on, it's 86 here today :(

Do you think if I were to put the chicken on a rack the bottom would get crispy too?

Yeah, that would probably help. I think it gets mushy b/c it sits in its own juices. raising it up is a good idea!

  • Thanks Lauren :)
