What is stuff you have to have right now?
Everyone wants birthday and Christmas ideas for me and I am lost. I am terrible at choosing gifts. If I want something, i just buy it.
I am putting together an amazon list and I got nothin'.

And gadgets. I'm big on gadgets. Basically anything that even remotely looks like it might make my life a little easier, I'm sold.
I actually love my hand mixer and use it more than my stand mixer. It's a hammidown kitchenaid and older than me. I LOVE my microplane. I want a nicer cheese grater right now.

I'll be late and chime in on the mandoline and dutch oven train. I have an enormous Le Creuset dutch oven that I bought at an outlet. It weighs a ton, and cost a fortune, but it has more than paid for itself.

I loved the ice cream maker attachment it got for my kitchenaid mixer. I would also want to get the pasta maker attachment and/or the food mill.
Glass food storage containers are good so you don't have to store and/or microwave your leftovers in yucky plastic.
