Along the same lines as the article regarding changing sheets, how often do you change your towels/washcloths? The article says to change them both every day, but that seems a little excessive to me. Thoughts?
Re: Towels-WDYT?
I use clean washcloth every day.
Change bath towel about every 3 days.
Hand towel - about every 3rd or 4th day.
Bath towels and washcloths I do everyday.
Hand towels every 3-4 days.
washclothes = everyday
bathtowels = every other day
handtowels = every 4-5 days
Body washcloth - daily
Towel - every 2-3 days
Hand-towels - once per week. Sooner if we've had company as they get used more frequently then.
Kitchen washcloths - 2-3 days
Kitchen towels - rotated from drying towel to hand towel for messy hands to towel under cat bowl (cat likes to splash), then to wash at the end of the week

Hand towels - twice a week

kitchen towels/wash rags - every other day
bathroom washcloth, DH and I get a fresh one every day
Kitchen hand towel, clean one every morning
Bathroom hand towel, clean one 1/2 way through the week
Bathroom body towel and bath mat, cleaned once a week
We declared "Tuesday Towel and Sheet Day" so we remember to toss those loads in washer exactly once a week.
