Article on washing sheets-WDYT?
I found this article this morning. I found it interesting. I normally do wash my sheets once a week. The comforter and pillows (I do have pillow protectors, though) don't get washed nearly as often as this article suggest. How often do you wash your sheets, comforters and pillows?
Also, all my flannel and cotton sheets say to wash in cold water. I know it is best to wash in hot or at the very least warm. Should I try it or will I ruin/shrink my sheets?
Re: Article on washing sheets-WDYT?
This.
Plus, it cited ehow as a source.
I wash everything in cold unless one of us was terribly ill, then I will use warm. I wash sheets once a week, pillows...never
and our bedding it dry clean only, so it gets dry cleaned after it's season when I switch to the other spread.
On a side note, I do wash our dog's laundry on warm with an extra rinse due to dog hair and smells...
