Ok, so since I like it over here (and am still waiting for the time I can move back), I'll just stay over here a bit. [:)
Like I posted before, my 10 year HS reunion is this Saturday at the banquet room attached to the Holiday Inn Express in 68th Street. It is my boyfriend's birthday, but he hasn't complained even once about going to my reunion with me. Since apparently it would be a really bad idea to try to do anything downtown after the reunion (per the great responses to my earlier post), I told him that we should go up to his sisters "cottage" (more like a lake house) in Montague for the evening and most of Sunday.
Obviously I want to make this more than just an average trip to the cottage, so help me plan something.
I don't need any advice on the boom-chicka-woh-woh area (lol), but I need some ideas like what to bring food wise. Girls think wine/cheese, but this is for HIS b-day. He likes Guiness though, so I was thinking that plus....something. So I need ideas for Saturday night, and Sunday morning and afternoon. HELP! tia

This cheesy brat stew is a favorite of my H:

Is there a grill there? This is an AWESOME rib recipe:

We usually do roasted red skin potatoes with them and a salad.
Here's a breakfast casserole we make a lot on special weekends:
