Gift Help Please

My 2nd Anniversary is coming up next Monday and I have no clue what to get C. We has discussed earlier this year not getting each other gifts for our Anniversary or Christmas this year since we bought a camping trailer. We were talking last night about were not going to go OOT to stay anywhere since we are busy the weekend before and after and I reminded him not to get me anything we will just go to dinner that evening and call it good. Anyways I now have to get him something and I have no clue what to get! He is in to 4 wheel drive stuff (he has a Wrangler and Blazer he is currently "modifying") and big into tools which I can't get him since he sells Snap-On and there the only tools he buys. I am at a loss because if I buy him something for one of his play toys it will probably be wrong and I don't exactly know what he needs or wants.

Also this weekend is one of my friends Bachlorette parties and I need a gift for that too. I don't buy langiere (sp) for myself so I'm not buying it for anyone else. What are some other ideas for this??

 TIA Ladies!

Re: Gift Help Please

  • Anniversary gift - Have you done the "reasons why I love you" idea that a lot of girls on here have talked about? I did that for our anniversary a few months ago and DH loved it, I was really surprised how much he liked it. I think I did 100 reasons.

Bachelorette gift - The most practical thing I got at my bachelorette party/personal shower was Astroglide Wink And someone got me a "365 sex positions" book. It was just a cartoon drawing book, but it was pretty funny. It got passed around during the shower and everyone had a good laugh at some of the impossible positions. Also, one present someone got me included some boxers for DH that said Hot Stuff all over them. He wore them all the time around the house.

  • I did the 100 reasons thing for our first anniversary, and H loved it. He was surprised I came up with that many reasons, but it was really easy.

As for the bachelorette party...ugh. It's been ages since I've been to one since none of my friends are getting married until next year. The last one I went to, I got the bride cute travel totes from Hallmark that she could take on the honeymoon, along with some sensual lotions and soaps from Bath and Body Works. I've also seen people give the book kayleeb was talking about - that gave quite the laugh. :P

  • The 2nd year traditional gift is cotton; the modern gift is china.  I got nothin' for ya there....  :)  For this one I thought about going to one of those paint your own pottery places and customizing a big platter- something he can put all of his grilling meats, etc. on (cause right now he is dirty-ing my cookie sheets lol).  Lame but whatev.

As far as the bachelorette gift- I usually go with a sexy/comfy strappy nightgown.  I have a gray cotton one with lacy bits on the chest area... I wear it all.the.time.
