There are babies in my house!

Some of you may remember from my engagement days that I'm a crazy Rat Lady.  Until I married Rocky I always had at least 2-3 (sometimes as many as 6) as pets.  When we got married he suddenly decided he didn't like them anymore and told me he didn't want me to have them anymore.  So now that I'm on my own again one of the first things I wanted to do was get rats again.  I like getting unique breeder-quality rats (dumbos, rexes, harleys, etc.) but when I tried finding an active breeder in the Phoenix area I found only one and she was really small and didn't have any litters at the time.

So I did what any other sensible rat lover would do.  I decided to open up my own rattery and breed rats for the greater Phoenix Area!  :)  I got a few breeders from my old rattery in San Diego and have been waiting ever since to have babies.

Well... the wait is over!  Last night my first litter was born... and it's freakin' HUGE!!!!  At least 12 babies (I'm still not home from Mexico so I haven't been able to count yet)!!!  I am such a dorky little giddy girl right now.  I barely slept last night and now I'm just waiting for LA rush hour(s) to end so I can go home and see them!!!  I know most of you probably think it's icky, but I really love having rats and I'm excited to share that with others.  And you guys just happen to be the people I talk to the most outside of my circle of IRL friends who have already heard the news.  :)
