I am just a b!tch.
Anyway, the hubs and I carpool nearly everyday. This is because I have a "commuter" car (which right now consists of my grandparents in law's old @ss Honda Accord) and he has a truck. The truck is a gas guzzler. We bought the truck due to all the home renos we are doing but as it turns out we are subcontracting it all out. So everyday, all week it sits in our driveway (which I think looks somewhat trashy but that's another story).
Last night, for the 15,000 time I was stuck at work until well past 6pm (when I could have left at 4pm) waiting on DH to pick me up from work. Now, he can't help he had to stay later but I sort of make my own hours which makes this car pooling thing bullsh!t. Further, he doesn't like to listen to the radio in the morning and I love to blast the Gaga.
So I put the truck on Craigs List this morning. I feel bad because I know he loves it but it just doesn't work for us. He agress that it is definitely a waste - plus - we drove it around the city on Saturday and used an ENTIRE tank of gas. AN ENTIRE TANK OF GAS. He's certainly does not appear to be upset about it but...I still feel like a bad wife.

I agree with blue - you rule. I need guts like you - H has an '02 Altima that he's done all this crap to [body kit, remote start etc.], and it doesn't run right. It's died three times since he's been gone, I've replaced the battery twice, and I think we're going to have to fix the alternator. And, I can't drive it because he put mufflers on it, and JJ's terrified to get in it. I want to sell his car SO bad, but I won't. I just glare at it sitting in my apartment complex until he gets home Friday. Sigh.
I don't think he likes that I am in charge of our finances now.
I also cut out the lawn mowing service. The boy is 28, he can get off of his @ss and mow the fvcking lawn!!!!!!!!!
