I'm concerned about what happens to the vagina, when you've had a long term relationship with a man with a large penis.

If your relationship failed (and you didn't marry), then what happens when you meet the right man and he's more average or smaller in size. Is the woman damaged from being stretched?

I know that men like "tight", so can a previous partner do this kind of permanent damage, or do I have nothing to worry about. I hope we all spring back to normal, but I'm uncertain and worried about it.

Your vagina only stretches out temporarily to accommodate whatever size penis it needs to. After a few days/weeks/whatever, it'll go back to its normal size. Have you ever gone a few weeks without having sex with your SO and then it took more effort to get it in than last time? Same reason. The vagina is incredibly durable and flexible.

I went from a two year relationship with a guy that was pretty hefty down there- then broke it off, and met my husband, who though larger in height and weight than the last one- was significantly smaller in that department, but I also found out that I enjoy sex a lot more with him than my last BF, lol maybe that's why I made him my husband. OH and I had a 10lb baby in August with no stitches or tearing, and DH says it feels just the same as it did before. So I doubt a big penis will ruin you, unless youre a porn star and taking three at a time 50xs a week.

I also had a long term with a man with a larger penis before my DH who is average. Sex is so much better with my average sized DH! He never has told me it wasn't 'tight' The vagina stretches just like the other ladies have mentioned and goes right back to its 'normal' state!
