5 year anniversary gifts
I just realized that Brian and I never talked about gifts, so I don't even know if we are doing anything. I guess I should ask him tonight. If we do anything it will be small since we are going out for a nice dinner and then TX in Feb for a trip.
I probably should think of something. It is wood (or silverware) for 5 years. There is the standard pictures frame. I could see if Tigers could email me a family shot before then and frame it for his work. Or we have talked about putting something different up in our living room for pictures - like a frame that has 5-7 different openings.. I just don't think I could get that organized to find something and order pictures for it.
Any other suggestions?
EDIT - I should say that I'm not tied tothe "traditional" annv gift of wood. By no means does it have to be that, however I figured if I we were going to go with a small gift, it would be fun to get something unique that fits in with that theme.

I emailed him at work and said something about just doing cards. If I wasn't so parnoid about his work account, I was going to say something that he still can give me wood, but I held back.
I almost made a comment my OP that I was waiting for him to make a joke about wood being the annv gift. I'm still shocked that for our 3rd Annv. that he didn't make jokes about leather (whips, outfits, etc.)

Yep, Brian didn't let me down. We sat down to dinner and the conversation went like this

Me - deadpan face "Wood"
