Organizing photo albums

....a question for those who actually print their pictures.

I am at a loss. When you have more than on child/ how do you organize family pics??? Do you put everything together, or - album per child, or you separate adults/kids, or...

If you have an album per child, where do you put pics where there are siblings together?????

 Thanks in advance.

Re: Organizing photo albums

  • My mom does a family album and then seperate kid albums . . . So if there is something that is a full family thing, it goes in the main album, if the event is child specific (like the birth of baby so and so) it goes in that childs album and so on . . . she also started seperating the family albums by years/ vacations/ holidays etc. . .
  • Yeah...I've always done the same thing. Organizing the pictures by date seems to be the easiest.
  • Mine are also chronological. I will probably only ever do family albums, and then, as my mom did for her kids, when our kids move out they will get some of the pictures of them for their new home. The nice thing is with digital technology, I can print them doubles and make them their own album when that time comes.
