Sigh... if you want it done right...
We didn't feel comfortable leaving Sherlock completely alone for 2 days, so we asked BIL to come over, check up on him, and feed him while we were gone. He was responsible for 4 meals.
1) V forgot to tell BIL to feed him a spoonful of canned pumpkin along with his cat food. (It helps him with digestion.)
2) BIL reported that when he gave Sherlock the one scoop per meal as we instructed, the little bugger ate it so quickly that BIL thought that it wasn't enough. So he gave him extra food.
As a result, the litterbox is, well, getting lots of use.
Sigh. Honestly. I let them take care of one little detail...

You're such a good cat mom! Next time, instruct BIL to clean the litter box if he's feeding him extra.
If we're gone less than 4 full days, Sienna has to fend for herself. And I feel horrible and worry about her the entire time we're gone.
