Re: Wedding poll revisited
Top 3 favorite moments that you remember from the wedding:
1. Holding my mom's hand as she walked me down the aisle.
2. The overwhelming feeling when I saw Les for the first time that day as the church doors opened (and the dimples I saw staring back).
3. Taking some of our wedding party pictures on the football field where we had our reception. We had a blast and people kept coming out onto the balcony cheering us on.
Three things you might have changed about the wedding:
1. My hair: I hated it it.
2. My photographer: while he got several good shots, there were many that he didn't get like a straight on pic of Les and me simply smiling at the camera; Les' face when he saw me for the first time; a picture of my sisters and me, etc...I could go on and on.
There's really nothing else I would change
A story (funny or otherwise) that you and dh have revisited numerous times since the wedding:
Our funny story goes right along with one of my favorite pictures:
Top 3 favorite moments that you remember from the wedding:
1. the mini burger bar
2. singing Pink "Rockstar" in my head so I wouldn't cry
3. when my dad's middle brother asked me to dance, it was my "father/daughter" dance. I makes me cry thinking about how sweet, and out of character it was.
Three things you might have changed about the wedding:honestly, nothing. Maybe more time to meet and greet the guests.
A story (funny or otherwise) that you and dh have revisted numerous times since the wedding:My great uncle telling me I had a "jiggaboo" at my wedding. lol, he's from the deep south of VA... and we had a black coworker of Damian's there. I couldn't believe he said it, still makes me laugh.

Married my hero on 10-11-08
Our bean was born on 05-19-11
Top 3 favorite moments that you remember from the wedding:
-the ahhhh feeling I had after makeup, hair and dress were on (I knew from that point forward I could just sit back and enjoy the day),
-seeing dh and waking down the aisle,
-tie being at BWW's and when our reception started just looking around we both were like "wow we did it!!!"
Three things you might have changed about the wedding:
-No MOH,
-different photog I really only had one very specific request and that was weather permitting a picture of our reception hall form outside looking it the windows like this was my only "I really want this pic" request,
-and different tux place
A story (funny or otherwise) that you and dh have revisted numerous times since the wedding: How we had 'dead air' when our dj went to get pizza, or when the mosque across the street from our church had their call to prayer at exactly the moment our mass was having a moment of silence. Okay maybe one more how dh never ever in his whole life had ever used gel in his hair (or had ever styled it for that matter) and decided to use some on our wedding day. He never used it again either.
Favorite wedding Pic: Not sure there are pics I think are the prettiest and then there are pics that I rememeber taking and signifiy a special moment.
ETA: immediately following our first married kiss
In honor of our anniversary month:
Top 3 favorite moments that you remember from the wedding:
1. When DH cried during his vows. We were passing the hanky back and forth between us because we were both tearing up.
2. I had to pee before the ceremony, so my MOH and another BM helped me hold up my dress while I went. We were laughing so hard the hole time. We called the photog in after to stage a picture. That is one of my fav. picutures.
3. My dance with my dad. It was so much fun planning and very much brought me back to my childhood.
Three things you might have changed about the wedding:
1. I wouldn't have asked my one friend to be in my wedding party. She and I were great friends growin up, however we had a real falling out during college. My mom sort of guilted me into getting in touch with her again and asking her to be a BM. I haven't really spoken to her since the wedding.
2. I would have gotten a different cake. It wasn't what I imagined. It was delish, but not very pretty.
3. I would have had part of my bouquet preserved.
A story (funny or otherwise) that you and dh have revisted numerous times since the wedding:
Two stories
1.The fact that when we got back to the hotel the first thing I did was take off my shoes, plop into a chair with the cake in my lap and go to town. I was starving!
2. The garter toss. We had told all of the GM(most were single) that we were going to "fix" the garter/bouquet toss. there was a couple that was getting married shortly after us, so we fixed it for them. We knew they would be good sports about doing the putting on of the garter. Well one of the other GM must not have gotten the "memo" because he dove in front of the other GM to catch the garter. We have the funniest photo sequence from it.
Favorite wedding Pic: Hard to choose, but I love this one of us

Top 3 Moments:
When it started raining and DH said to me "It will be ok" and I said back "I don't care" I mean we were already outside, it's not like we were going to go back in and start all over.
Father daughter dance and mother son dance that we did together, it was nice not only for us, but when others came to join
Chocolate fountain, OMG it was so good
Top 3 changes:
Venue-I still can't get over what they did
Having the size wedding we did, a lot of DH's family were buzzkills
Not getting enough time with DH's fraternity brothers, they are awesome
Funny Story:
DH's aunt enjoyed the open bar a bit too much and as we were cleaning up, etc to go back to the hotel she sort of just fell down, it was hilarious
Favorite Pic:
When it started to rain
This one is DH's favorite.

Top 3 favorite moments that you remember from the wedding:
1. Seeing Andrew's smile when he saw me for the first time.
2. Hearing my sister had my niece when we were having our rehearsal dinner, and feeling so happy for my sister. I still cry when I think about it.
3. Our first dance, it felt like we were the only people in the room at that time.
Three things you might have changed about the wedding:
1. My centerpieces, they were nice but could have been a lot better.
2. I would have had a videoagrapher
3. A second photog
A story (funny or otherwise) that you and dh have revisted numerous times since the wedding:
The one that comes up most is how Andrew's brother and cousin were hitting on my cousin Rachel and her best friend.
Favorite wedding Pic:
The one in my siggy really describes how our relationship is. Andrew acting goofy and me ignoring him.

Top 3 favorite moments that you remember from the wedding:
Walking down the aisle with my parents
Being introduced as Mr & Mrs
The speeches by the Best Man (FIL) and MOH.?
Three things you might have changed about the wedding:
I really regret not getting to get outside pictures. The town we got married in has great old buildings and is a cute town.?
The back of my hair
Kind of wish the ceremony had been at a church (or separate venue) so we could have had a 'farewell' with throwing petals or something at us.?
A story (funny or otherwise) that you and dh have revisted numerous times since the wedding:
Not a funny, but bizarro. Nick was out smoking a cigarette with a bunch of people and they were talking about ' oh, now you're stuck" or something like that and my uncle's wife mutters under her breath, 'if she gets outta line, just smack her around" or something like that. TOTALLY WEIRD and out of place. She wasn't really joking either. And my uncle is totally not like that so we have no idea why she said it - she's always been weird.?
Favorite wedding Pic: GOSH, SO MANY!!!
At the rehearsal my dad said "MY mother and I" so at the wedding I was watching him to make sure he said "HER mother and I"
and this one:
The minister had just corrected me and I was all..."ooookay then!"
Top 3 favorite moments that you remember from the wedding: (1) Making it down the aisle and seeing Drew just bawling! (2) Our last dance. All of our guests surrounded us in a circle and we danced to our song again. (3) The speeches. They were the best!
Three things you might have changed about the wedding: (1) My hair. I hated it so much!!! (2) I would have had a videographer. (3) I wish that I had made a "speech" of sorts and thanked everybody for coming. We walked around and greeted each table, but I wish that I had spoken up.
A story (funny or otherwise) that you and dh have revisted numerous times since the wedding: Drew bawled while I was walking down the aisle. I love that he got so emotional.
Favorite wedding Pic:
This is one of my absolute favorite pictures. My mom has one just like it and I have both of them side by side in a frame.

Top 3:
1. Seeing Darren for the first time
2. Darren's mother/son dance with his mom. They choreographed a swing dance routine that brought the house down. It's still what everyone talks about.
3. Walking into the ceremony. I walked in to 'Chasing Cars' by Snow Patrol, at this really dramatic moment in the song... it was awesome
3 things I would change (but they're teeny things):
1. I would have hired a videographer
2. I would have had my photog take more pictures of Darren and I with people at the cocktail hour
3. The candy buffet was set up wrong
Funny Story
One of our groomsen almost passed out during the ceremony. Thinking he was going to faint, he busted through a door in the back of the room and knocked over a table. The whole ceremony stopped, and another groomsman said, 'he's just feeling a little faint, carry on!'. Everyone laughed. I found out later our catering manager ran over and was like, 'you're not the groom are you?!'. hahaha
He came back out in time to walk back down the aisle.
My favorite picture will always be this one:
Top 3 favorite moments that you remember from the wedding:
1. Seeing my flowers for the first time - I didn't have mock ups done
2. Seeing DH for the first time and thinking he looked very nervous like a deer caught in headlights
3. Mine and my dad's conversation about farting while walking down the aisle so neither of us cried. Me and dad are both 12 and laugh at farts.
Three things you might have changed about the wedding:
1. An earlier start time so we could've gotten some outside pictures
2. Ordered more potstickers, I really wanted some and didnt get any
3. Better arrangements for the limo ride back to the hotel
A story (funny or otherwise) that you and dh have revisted numerous times since the wedding:
During the ceremony, Dad messed up his line of "Her mother and I do" and said "His other and I do. To this day my mom keeps saying that she didn't give me a way, Dad and MIL did.
Favorite wedding Pic:

I think its the angle and lighting of this one.
Newbie here!
Top 3 favorite moments that you remember from the wedding:
1. I asked my dad right before we walked down the asile if there were a lot of people "out there". He said no thinking it would calm me down, the doors opened and there were a ton! I wispered "not many huh?" It was fun.
2. After the reception DH and I took a peddycab (bike with a cart) to the bar to meet our friends.
3. DH had to shut his eyes during the vows (and during everything else where we stood facing eachother during the ceremony) so he wouldn't cry.
Three things you might have changed about the wedding:
1. A band instead of a DJ (ours really sucked)
2. I wish we would have not rushed through our dinner to make sure we got to each table.
3. I didn't get to see the reception location until the Friday before (long distance planning) and would have changed a few decor ideas.
A story (funny or otherwise) that you and dh have revisted numerous times since the wedding:
There was a homeless man that walked through our cocktail hour - cart and all. I was told about this the next day and was a little upset, but now I think it's funny. I guess he really needed a bathroom. He was respectful and didn't even try to get a bite to eat, or a beer.
Favorite wedding Pic: Ahh this is so hard, I have so many!
