We recently discovered we might have a mouse problem. Just wondering if anyone has ever had this issue and what they did to remedy the situation. If you have experience with a specific pest control company, that would be helpful as well. Thanks in advance.
Re: Pest Control
We live in a wooded neighborhood, so we get a fair number of mice. Fortunately for us, they never become a problem, because we have cats, and they are excellent mousers! Any interest in getting a cat??
We've also had good luck catching mice with live traps and release the mice away from the house. But my neighbors who do not have cats have told us that this isn't sufficient for keeping their mice under control. So it probably works better in combo with the cats. Still, it's the method I would try first, because I've had bad experiences in the past living places where they used poison and kill traps.

ditto on the cat suggestion. our cats have eliminated the mouse issue for our entire neighborhood and the neighbors have thanked us!
We have a cat, which is how we found out about the mice. Unfortunately, our cat is declawed (stays indoors only) and can only play with the mice. We know he's chasing one when he's really active. He's a 10 year old cat, so he doesn't get excited over anything.
We are just worried that our cat won't cut it and we really don't want to deal with mice much longer. We've heard good things about Plunkett's, so may check them out.
