OMG, this week needs to be over with STAT!
I need a flipping do over of this entire week but this morning just takes the cake. Note that it is ONLY 8:29.
I didn't have enough milk for N today so instead of pulling from the freezer, I set my alarm for 5 (a whole hour earlier than normal) so I could pump for her this morning. Up at 5, fix coffee, hook up to the milking machine and turn on CNN for miner coverage (sidenote: omg, am I the only person who gets chills from that? Yes? Moving on.)
I realize about 30 min in that I am getting some milk from Lefty but NOTHING from Righty. The bottle is totally empty. I do a few tricks but nothing is working. I have milk in the boob but the pump just cannot get it out. Fuuuuuuck. So I stay hooked up for another 30 min hoping for the best. 3 ounces total. For you non-breastfeeders, morning is when you get the most milk. So this does not bode well for the rest of my day (pumping-wise). I end up needing milk out the freezer anyway. Super.
I start washing pump parts and feel something on my foot. A MOTHER EFFING SPIDER IS CRAWLING ON MY FOOT! I did not stomp on it since every spider that I've ever killed has been pregnant but did scream loud enough to wake up MrShoe (but not N oddly enough). Oh, btw we're in the middle of not speaking to one another so he REALLY appreciated me waking him up like that.
Spider is dead, milk is fixed, I go get everything ready and we leave the house on time for once in our lives. Go me! Get to daycare, N is all smiles & being all cute and shiit. And I realize that the milk is in the fridge. At my house. *&^%$#!!!!
Back in the Swagger Wagon where my gas light promptly comes on. Of course it did. Dear Karma, I hate you.
It has to get better, right? RIGHT?!?!

I REALLY need some of those. How's your car situation?
Oh, it's hard core sucking! I hate dealing with insurance adjusters and I flipped out on them the other day b/c 1) they don't return my calls 2) they want me to put a refurbished bumper on my car 3) 10 days later no one had even bothered to take a statement from me or ask if I was okay. My back hurts like hell and I wish I enjoyed pain pills but they make me feel like crap.
I'm about 5 minutes away from turning the whole thing over to a lawyer b/c I just don't have the time or energy to deal with this right now.
You should consult with our resident attorney; she could probably hook you up with a legit personal injury attorney.
